A Question Regarding the DLC packs

My GT5 game is a region 2 game but I'm playing the game using my US PSN account.

Can I buy the DLC from the European store and use it with my US account?
To clarify further, when you buy one of the DLCs, do you donwload the content from XMB or from the game's DLC menu?

I fear that if I buy the EU DLC and I have to download it in game (for which I use my US account), the contents will not appear.
For other games, I have no problem since I download the DLC from the XMB and the content will be there regardless of the account.

Can someone clarify how the DLC is downloaded and used? Is there hope? :(

No.

In December you'll be able to download it with an EU account from the EU PSN store for your EU disc and, once installed, be able to use it on your US account (probably), but at present you can't.

Thank you for the fast reply. Why in December? The DLC is already out. I'm sorry if it's obvious, but could you please tell me the reason?

PD are issuing an update then that allows the DLC to be used across all account, while at the moment it can only used on the account it was purchased on.
