A question thats been bothering me for quite a while

Hello! *sigh*
im new here, just registered and read alot of posts for about 3-4 hours straight.
ive seen alot of ppl like me being flamed cuz they've asked questions that has been asked before without using the search function, so before posting this plz keep in mind i spent like 30mins searching for a valid answere to what im about to ask.

anyhow, here goes:

in GT3 u could use ur Tuned cars from ur Garage in Arcade mode wich i kinda loved, but it seems u cant do this in GT4? ive spent alot of time in-game in GT4 trying to do this but with no result :(

would be greatly appreciated if anyone could confirm what im thinking, theres no way to do this in GT4, is there?

(oh im a swede btw so im sorry if my english is a little bit corny)

All cars will be kept as original in Arcade mode. Only thing you can change is tires, and ASM/ TCS on or off. and nothing else can be changed.

First welcome to GTP!

The people who get flamed are mostly the ones who were really lazy and in some cases could not even bother to use the search function. SO, if you honestly searched for something, say so, and the flaming will be moderate or none at all...

Also let me quickly say that there are A LOT of good guys here in the forum, who really wanna help and enjoy sharing their experience with new/ fellow racers...so that makes more than up for those who give you a hard time once in while..

To you question, to my best knowledge the status of your tuned car can not be used in Arcade mode. All you can do is to unlock a car in Arcade mode, once you have bought/won it in GT mode.
The only tuning options in Arcade mode are increase in HP (up to 20%), weight reduction (max -10%), your tyre choice and switching drivers aids off....

If you like racing, join the WRS Racing league .(I only joined last week)..there are some awsome guys there, friendly and funny ones and its a good spirit among them. You find all you need to know in the according threads....Have fun!

Yes, as Stinger05 explained...
To you question, to my best knowledge the status of your tuned car can not be used in Arcade mode. All you can do is to unlock a car in Arcade mode, once you have bought/won it in GT mode.

Fredrik, you don't run your modified cars in Arcade anymore. Go into GT Mode and take your modified car to one of the green course icons around the outside of the main map: World Circuits, City Circuits, Original, Dirt & Snow, etc. You can Practice (like Arcade Free Run), PhotoDrive, Track Meet (Free Run with other cars), or Family Cup (like Arcade Single Race), but not every event type is available for every track. You can change all your settings in these events. 👍

you CAN race modified cars in arcade from your garage,in 2 player anyway,when you click 2 player when you get to choose your car,click the 1 at the top and it loads your garage from gran turismo mode,you CANT do that in 1 player in arcade but you can in 2 player.
 
BB96 is correct. You can use your own tuned cars in 2p Arcade mode. There are limitations, however. All of the driving aids are automatically turned off, and unless you are driving a race car, you cannot use race tires. The combination of these two items really makes driving your tuned 800hp Skyline in arcade mode a bit of a challenge...
