a quick question for drifters

I just got Need for speed underground from a friend of mine, he told me this game was better than gT3.I was just worndering if anyone thought nfsu was any fun at all ? I WAS VERY DISAPOINTED.I'm glad he loned it to me so I didn't have to pay out cash for such a horrible game.
 
i have to admit it is fun at first but then go back to gt3 and bam! nfsu is just crap lol just BAM! instant crap lol sorry that wasn't needed lol
 
I liked it. It was fun to play online and customize your car, but it ruins your gt3 skill so I stoped playing it after a month or so.
I don't think it sucked though, just didn't have all that much replay value even with online play.
 
It's true, i been playing and trying to win that stupid games, and now i cant drift as good as i could no more, i lost all my skills, plus NFSU is those kind of game that, if you finish it, then there is nothing to do no more, not like GT3 where you can still switch tires and mess with settings as going faster or drifting more better and GT3 have replays and thats the best thing.

drift mode was fun for a while....
but nfs:u is not better then gt3!!

nfsu is kinda fun because i play other ppl online
anyone want to play me in a little race or drifting competition online ?
 
Drifting in NFS:U is a joke... The civic can drift exactly like a FR!
man... I don't even use E-brakes also.... and it drives like a FR totally in the drift track... thats funny :trouble:
 
ebrake is more like a clutch even...

it was fun to customize the cars, but after every possibility (and yes, i have created an assload of cars), it gets lame.

lame game. oh well.

great sound though. lol.

you are rigth there I have a pretty nice surround sound system with 750 watts and the game sonds great.I hopr GT4 will sound that nice.
 
I have more fun drifting in Nascar 98 than I do in NFS:U. At least it's outstandingly hilarious in Nascar 98 as where it's just stupid in NFS:U
 
isnt the track oiled in nfs:u for the driftin i laughed so hard when i saw that it was oiled to make you lose traction easier.......then i shut it off
 
I dunno, I liked it.... for the ricer deep down inside me this game was fun, but it gets lame and repetetive after a while... I just d/led so Im glad I didnt waste my money on it.
 
I think the game is fun, it just different from GT3.
GT3 is simulation game and NFSU is arcade game. can't compare apple and orange. If you like arcare then prolly u will like NFSU more and if you like simulation then you will like GT3. it might be same racing game but it just has different element IMHO.
 
I think the nfsu drifting is fun. I can acutally go the whole course drifting. its fun because its so easy, but gt3 is far mor fun because you can tweak and tune.
