I realized (again) today-gtplanet.net is simply one of the best online communities, bar none. Time and again I've come here for information, not just about the GT series but for technical questions about my PS2, PS3, TV, peripherals, other games, whatever. Frequently I've found (to my surprise) that someone has taken the time to compile just what I'm looking for in a nice, concise format so I don't have to waste an afternoon looking. It's refreshing and professional.

On top of all that, there is the Weekly Race Series, which has provided me the opportunity to compete against many of you and has increased my enjoyment of GT4 to the point where I likely am playing it more now than ever before. The time and effort expended by those that make the WRS great is off the charts, and I commend them for doing such a great job, and for a very long time.

The kicker? All the updates (thanks amar1212, and others) and previews of GT5/Prologue, long before any other gamesite, and with more insight and knowlege than all of them put together. I'm a 36 year old mechanic, and it's rare these days for me to get so excited about anything, let alone a game, but coming here surely does it.

That being said, I finally stopped freeloading and purchased GTPremium, and encourage others to do the same. It's money well spent.

Thanks!

You're right, superwally, GTPlanet is what it is today because of the outstanding group of diverse people that have gathered here. I appreciate our community every day, and I am honored to be a part of it. Thank you for helping to keep the lights on!

Why is this thread in "Gran Turismo 5: Prologue".

Because it's specifically directed at those responsible for bringing me all this GT5P information, and since I wanted to make people aware of the WRS, I put it where it's likely to be seen. A similar circumstance directed me to the WRS over a year ago-I didn't seek it out on my own. It's been a blast.

Also, I'd like to think it would be viewed by others who spend a bit of time here but haven't thrown a little cash around. I certainly meant to do it a long time ago.
