I caught the setups from the other thread and will be trying it out tonight. Like I said earlier, my lil` Clio is like pushing butter around a hot frypan.

Sorry mate looks like Jimeez has the better reactions and set up on this occasion ;) :hint hint: never know though maybe I might stumble upon something :another hint hint: :D

Try catching him yourself  it could become a lifetime mission if your not careful:tup:

Well, I have a lot more room for improvement, so motivation along the way shouldn't be difficult (:

Duh!! talk about stoopit

I can DL your replay Jimeez and watch it on the NTSC version ... I completley forgot :p

anyway i'm gonna nosey at it now 👍

Using Mr P's settings I got it down to 1:51.764.

Wow, 2.5 seconds just on settings. And that's only my first 5 times around the circut with the new setup.

Make that 1:50.881 with gear tuning. Man, if you've got 6 gears you could at least use 4th to its full potential. Drop that ratio! (:

Ok I just viewed your replay Jimeez

Wow them gears are short..... but very effective 👍 I see your using a wheel in this replay ;) I cant drive the wheel on the maze so big respect there man

I'm wondering how your gears would be on my set up? :D

I'll be back on this one .... that was a very, very nice lap and as always clean as a whistle :)

Those are some very fast times guys!
I'm testing some settings, but I cannot get used to the way the car behaves. :irked:

With the first few tries I got a 1'49.795

SEE!?! I said shorten`em up and you'll get quicker times. I was getting about a tenth of a second on each corner. It's more slippery around the corner though, with more torque and all. But your launch speed will go way up. (:

Nice times indeed 👍

I'm down to a 1'47.2 something...

I will get back to it a.s.a.p

Wow!

Some really stellar times here. I'm down to a 1'46.179 now but have yet to try mr p's or jimeez's settings.

I've been a believer in LSD for a long time now but I can see I'm still being a bit timid.

We'll see what the next few days brings ;)

What is this LSD you refer to?

Hi not been on this since i got my last run ... will get to it this weekend for sure ( GT4P is still giving me things to do ;) )
here's my last run for anyone who wishes to view it.

Limited Slip differential :)

Crank it up. Great for traction on the dirt!

I set it at 20/60/30 (ala mr. p) and ran some laps last night....

1'45.877

Give it a try LoudMusic!

Well my last run was with the settings Mr P posted, so I don't know that I'm going to get much better without "driver skill" modifications (:

Since I introduced myself in the other thread to this, it's probably appropriate to weigh in here on behalf of:

:D Team Old Skool :D

Here is a 1'45:545 from the ole phattboy...

BTW! Those of you posting settings and runs to ghost is really helpful to those of us who are usually pretty fun to watch but not ordinarily very fast  Thank You!

im gonna give this a try later, any good setup's plz?

It takes a lot of time to get used to this car, and I still rarely can get it to power through turns. It just stalls, or something. It's like slow motion death. Anyways, maybe with more time I could do better, but I don't feel like spending the time right now. I think the best legal I managed was 1:51.009. Might have been 1:50.xxx, I don't remember. 25-35 miles, I guess. 501 hp

Ya'all know I just realized there is no Friday the 12th of February this year:lol:

Clever, Mr P, how you manage to avoid Friday the ??:sly: 👍

@ GT3mich:
:D Why Oh Why didn't I listen to you???
 "Fiddled around" w/Ms Clio's settings for over an hour trying to at least keep up w/my teammate but to no avail. Heeded your advice & dropped the TCS to "0" & the second Lap turned a:

1'45.337 !!! :D

Will give 'er a rest tonite & tomorrow try returning to the "Good" settings sans TCS & see what transpires. THANX AGAIN...UB57

So last night I got all peeved at my wife's sisters and rather than say something I would later pay for (though not regret), I went in my room and took it out on the Clio:irked: (poor thing)

Two things transpired...

1) It made me feel a lot better:tup:

and...

2) Team Old Skool gets to post a little faster time:tup:

1'44.819 from the ole phattboy

Mr P this will likely be my last post as it is the morning of Friday the ?? and I have to go out of town to work today and likely won't be back in time to throw anything else at this.

FANTASTIC Run PARTNER !!!
:D On the one hand I feel sorry for Ms Clio but on the other am happy for the Team! 👍 I think you've put it "Out of Reach" for me as on this track I'm thrilled to just be staying within 1.75 seconds of jimeez & Mr P. But you know I'll give it "One More Shot!" Congrats!!!...UB57(Jr. Partner)
:D

@UB- TCS set at 0 and TCS set at 10 will have the same effect in rally. Even though you can change the numbers, the TCS will never engage, and you'll never see a 'TCS' light on the spedometer. Same goes for ASM. I think that's what Jim was trying to say here:

UB, TCS is off in Rally. go faster

As for the race, I ran a few laps about 10 days ago, and had 1:49.somethingslow, and never had a chance to try again. :(

Shooooot. I hope you're not complaining about a 1:49, because I'll never even get there.

:D Want to get this posted before Mr P's deadline:

1'44.666 :) :) :)

Will post replay A.S.A.P. ...UB57 :D

EGGMAN... SSSHHHUUUSSSHHH!!! My kid told me that last night and I wasn't going to tell my partner until after the race... (If he thinks it will make him go faster then it will make him go faster...) Sooo hush up now!!!;)

BTW... got back sooner than I thought I would...
