A.R.C#3 in January 2005 ( any interest? )

I am planning on running the A.R.C again over 4 weekly events, 4 races using 1 car from a select list of cars, the car you choose will be used for all 4 races so choose wisely 👍 .... 2 races will be in arcade rally cars on dirt courses and the other 2 will be run in the stock sim equivalent of the same car you choose for the tar races, so you will need to acquire the sim version of the arcade car you will be running ..... anyone interested? just let me know in here and I will draw up the events in more detail 👍

Start date is mid January :) hope to see some of my old rally buddies turn up for a final bit of mudslinging and tarslinging also :sly:

Here's the tracks we will run over the 4 weeks in no particular order ...

Swiss Alps II
Grand valley II
Tahiti Maze II
Apricot Hill II

Im in 👍. I've been waiting to get in on an ARC for a long time now. Just one question, will this be a team type thing?

One more thing to note Mr. P, I will have replay support by January, just in case I do get one of the top times (yeah right :lol: ). But in any case, I like to be able to prove my times in a prestigious race series like this 👍.

Thats great news mate 👍 and an added bonus with being able to supply your replays is that you can also view the other drivers replays who manage to cross the line ahead of you ;) 👍

As for the dirt, :indiff: , but that's just because I suck at it. ;)

For now you can put me on the interested drivers list, but as usual, I'm not very reliable. :sly:

Looks like a bunch of fun though, so I will surely be back to see how things develop.

Curious though...

Will there be a team system?
Will all rally cars be included?

Will my toyota rally cars be there? :trouble: :lol:

I've been looking forward to another tarmac/dirt season against Niels since the Mini Cup last year.
I'll be crap because I can't tune or choose a proper car, but who cares ?

Will there be a warm up race at one of the tracks that won't be used during the actual races? I'd like to see where I'm at before the races actually start.
 
So if I have you correctly...

We run the Arcade Rally car we choose on Tahiti Maze II and Swiss Alps II.

Then we run the same stock Rally car(i.e. No Setting changes or anything, same tyres etc???) on Grand Valley II and Apricot Hill II.

If that's the case, I'll try find time to be in on this one, sounds like fun.

EDIT: I looked at the last A.R.C. and it's a two-lap race series (hence it in the short race series section thread)... are you keeping that format or doing hotlaps this time around??? (4x hotlap series accumulated... which could work if each track worked out at around the same time per lap... you could then give points for each individual race and a 5th set of points for accumulated times :D )
 
Gee, and I should be on vacation with the house all to myself during all or part of that time frame.
I think I'm in. Hell, someone has to bring up the rear.:lol:

The races will vary from single hotlaps to 3 lap races at the most 👍

The dirt races will be in the Arcade rally car of your choice from the R garage.

The tar races will be run in the sim version of the car you choose for all 4 rounds

Sim cars are to be run as stock with no upgrades at all except you can choose any tyres and settings can be adjusted to your liking in the Sim version cars 👍

The Idea of stock hp for the tarmac races is very tempting for me.

After long thinking I will be honoured to close the door of the rally races.

The last person always closed the door when everybody has left.In this case I will be maby last in the rally races.So I have to close the door.(Or put the lights out)
My latest dirt race was in 2001 :lol:

Sometimes thinking in Dutch and writing in English can give me problems ;)
