Still scratching my head as to why you can change the wheels on a 458 or California but not a F430...

Have you noticed that the driver changes gear like in a manual car? And actually it's F1 version...

Also the 458 it's made wrong... let me explain. It's soposed to have a "DSG" gearbox, just like the SL55, but it changes gears like the F430 F1 gearbox. :yuck:

Clearly these aftermarket wheels and the hideous wing are just for show.

I could find an example of any of the other cars you mentioned if you'd like. If you want a less racey example look at the McLaren F1 LM.

That's a factory built car. There's nothing "aftermarket" about it. Ferrari builds em to Le Mans GT2 specs and sells them to privateer teams.

The OP, or someone up there, said they wanted to make a Risi car, so I posted a Risi car to show that it isn't tasteless and ugly as was implied by another poster. I also said I could post some non-factory track cars with proper wings and lightweight wheels if you want.

My point was that you don't ruin a car by putting wings and aftermarket wheels on it.

Some cars are best left the way they are anyway, Ferraris, McLarens, Lamborghinis, even Mercedes. Leave the aftermarket rims and hideous spoilers to the Skylines and cars like that.

Sir, I paid for this games just as you have and I'll tune my cars any way I want.

They must be because BMW Rahal Letterman and Flying Lizard put the shame on them something good.

Although I got to see the 430's drive like crazy at Mid-Ohio, they were nuts!

well not sure what you mean about the gear changes on 458 but it changes them on the steering wheel becuase thats how its done in RL, all ferraris have paddles on steering wheel

also SL55AMG has a normal torque converter autobox not a double clutch gearbox like 458, california etc.

i don't have f430, only scuderia so i don't know what its doing in f430 but in scuderia its doing it right

Lol, not in the US you can't. Try that and you will most likely have a lawsuit on your hands. I'm not even sure they can't sell you a car because they don't feel like it(legally).

They do that in the states and have heard first hand from a guy that had to have own a couple models to purchase another, don't remember what he was buying. They have the right to deny anyone service just like any business does, Hospitals and service like that are the only that can't deny service.

clearly he has an invisible cat.

I noticed the way he changes gears in the F430. I was wondering why he wasn't using the paddle shifters.

Any private business can deny service to someone. Ever seen signs that say "no shirt no shoes no service"?

People get kicked out of bars and restaurants, places have dress codes, etc. Ferrari dealers can decide not to sell you a car simply because the salesman doesn't think you like the car enough, or because he hates your shoes.

With almost any "high end" Ferrari (Enzo, FXX, etc), you're bound by a ridiculous set of rules that state where and when you can drive it (in the case of the FXX) and to even OWN the thing, you have to have owned an F40 and F50 in the past (in the case of the Enzo), as well as many other little things.

Not to mention, they don't police their (very rare) dealerships very well, and there are some out there that will refuse to sell you medium-end Ferraris unless you've bought from that dealership before, so you end up having to buy a lower end Ferrari just to be able to buy an F430. 👎

Hit up Ferrarichat.com and take a look into the history of some dealerships, it's unreal.

tbh you dont know what the hell you're talking about, the reason you need to have owned and f40 or f50 in order to buy an enzo etc is simply a case of loyalty and busness, ferrari got fed up with people pre-odering ferrari's and then selling them for £20-30 thousand a month before they took delivery, and thats why you need to fit their criteria,

as for customers being told where they can and cant drive their cars is nonsense too, the fxx series is a development project and customers pay 1,2 million to be part of this project, they then race and research these cars at different places, also ferrari do not sell these cars then tell them about the critera, you implied they treat their customers poorly but yet they keep returning, basically you are talking nonsence
