This person was driving on Interstate 44 in St. Louis to work from Ballwin MO. & made it to Hampton Ave. in St. Louis. When he then heard a pop sound. It sounded like a flat tire. After stopping and seeing no flat tire he opened the hood & jumped a mile...
Imagine calling into work...I will be late and UH....
This is what was making the noise!!! :crazy:

Saw that before. There were some other pics., but was after the snake was pulled out. Pretty graphic.
 
That's the new cobra mustang's engine there!
 
ooh ahh :scared: it might have crept up inside when it was stopped, nice an cosy place to rest i suppose but then i guess it couldnt hold on any longer :crazy:
 
It's pretty common to have animals go up in the engine bay of cars. It's warm in there.
 
Yeah, I want to see more pics too. Why is the bloody part on top of the engine? did it burn to death or something?
 
Hmm, could be. It's pretty hot in there... I think he also got into the inter cooler, explains the 'bang' he heard.

Reminds me of the story that my mom told me.

"ya we had a cat, and could not find it. So we got in the car to go to the mall, when we started it wh heard a horrible noise... jumped out and the cat was"

I cant remmber the rest, but its head was really hurt and it died shortly after :nervous:

Something like that happened to us when we were young.my mom started the car,it was a very cold day,and we all heard that hard thump,and saw a cat run from under the car,we opened the hood and found the cat's tail :crazy:

About a year ago, my brother had a marten in the engine bay.

He heard some strange noises as he was driving to work.

When he stopped and opened the hood / bonnet the marten jumped out and ran away.

My brother was lucky. The marten only bite one ignition cable.
So he had still 3 cylindre working... (one of the strange noises)
 
Some guy lied and said the snake added 60 hp and took almost a second of his 1/4 mile time....the next week, little ricers where stuffed in emergency rooms with all kinds of snake bites !
