A-spec 4hr TsukubaCircuit error/bug?

Has anyone else had this problem occur to them? Since the endurance saves came out I have finally had a chance to complete the game 100% but I keep having to quit or restart this race and here is the reason:

After every 30 minutes or so I like to pit because of the tire wear which basically I let get down to bear metal, but for some annoying reason when I save the game and go back to it the car immediately goes out of control missing the pit lane and crashing on the outskirts. Then it proceeds to head but the out of the pitting wall pretending it wants to pit. Eventually it just starts to drive by itself lap after lap after lap and ignores the pitting lane.

Now I dont know if this a bug or glitch but usually if you miss a pit lane or for some reason dont intend on going to pit it will either reset the car and on your way you go. I have never had any of the other A-spec endurance races crap out like this one especially twice! This is happening right now, Im just gonna wait till the gas runs dry and see what happens.

I had heard that this was due to people suspending the race in the little lead in lane BUT I had the same iassue on the nine hour race and I absolutely waited til I was off that lane thing...

My advice to you friend is to leave the game paused for the 4 hour and for the 9 you might have to engage another strategy... I recommend a few mates, a few beers and some munchies and doit in 30 lap shifts, up to you though but as far as I know there is no fix - unless anyone has one that I am not aware of?

See thats what I did. Since it happened to me before I made sure I saved when the pit screen popped asking me what tires and amount of petrol I wanted. But for some reason it started me in the skinny lane right before the rails. Last time it happened when I was 3 hours in. This one 2 hours.

Like I said, im gonna wait till the fuel runs out and see if he finally pits. Thanks for the response tho!

No problem

If I were you i would simply keep the PS3 on and pause the game when not playing, it is only a 4 hour race so even if you took extensive breaks (say half an hour for each hour driving) resulting in a 6 hour race it is still only 6 hours... the 9 hour is a different story but I have had the PS3 on for days and days and had no problem so I will be doing it again for the 9hr and 2x 24hr A-spec races.

Oh boy im leaving those 24h Ring races for last. So yea I let it run out of petrol and even then the idiot kept laping at 50mph lol.
