Toyota Tacoma Pick Up @ 500PP, tune by me. Got this one over so that I can have fun in the expert race.

I had to give the trusty Mini Marcos a run out in London, so I went in its 450pp /150 BHP trim on SH tyres. Took me three of attempts as I collided with a few cars and a barrier or two in the first two attempts. Third lap I took the lead NSX in the final right-hander with a slightly dubious dive-bomb :embarrassed:, but I knew I couldn't catch him if he was in front on to the straight....

Think I'm getting old .
I can remember coming home .
I can remember doing this challenge .
I can remember ..... winning ?
I can remember ..... No that's it , not a clue which car I used .

Oh London! This is turning fun!
I dont recall when I got the Honda S500. Nice car but horribly limited by the engine, and next by the Suspension spring rate limits.
Did a lots of things, jumped loops on fire, and 2 hours later and all could get was a 375pp car with every gram of performance that my knowledge allowed me to extract out of it, and a 10000 rpm engine that just isnt enough. :grumpy:
Ok! checked the dealers, and there is a successor of a successor, the S800, and it handles very much like it! this time with a nice engine. Applied the same tunning and wham! My 2 hours were not spent in vain!

Checking other stuff, I didnt noticed that this race allowed SM tires 💡
After several tries and a sadist roster with 2 NSX, an impreza and a GT-R Vspec

And lastly
The Midget IID just for kicks... but my previous tune was a mess and not many tricks can be applied to this one because of its high center of mass, so you dont have slack to play with the compression / extrension rates because if you touch the edges you face the loss of traction and many other undesirable effects

So this session was really interesting because I ahd to work with many restrictions that made me look at things in a different way. I even adjust some toe-outs to improve cornering and I havent touched those on a loooong time. Thats what I love from GT, it have so many life in it left bacause you can play it the way you want and even after years of playing it, you are still learning new things

I used a C63 with the 1,400kg stage 3 weight and I think it only has 450hp.

However I found this the hardest of the 3 this month because the track just makes it hard to overtake.

Had a perfect run with the tuned GSX-R for a 4.06:313. I look forward to what you guys can do, it's not the easiest of challenges.
