I bought a '96 240SX mainly for the paint chip, but decided why not try my own tune and see what happens. Won by almost 10 seconds with my own tune thanks to the help I have been getting from @skeagracing.👍 I'll run it again and post a picture. I love both the track and the car. I have several Nissans so I'm going to run them all including my beloved 510. I'm sort of like a kid in a candy store now that I have began to understand tuning thanks to @skeagracing. We both have raced real cars in real life and if you haven't you can begin to understand what a great feeling it is to win with something you had your own hands involved in.

I did a few more tweaks to my tune on the 240SX from my race yesterday. As promised I have attached the pictures. I was saddened to discover I can't run my 510 though but I have plenty more '90's cars. I'll just add them to this post. These are the others I ran today with my own tunes. I'm not trying to brag because I know for a fact that there are many more people here at:gtplanet: that are much faster and more capable than I am. I'm just like a kid in a candy store being able to take a car and tune it myself and win with it. Thanks to @skeagracing for helping me for without his guidance and patients I would not have been able to do this.

I read so many posts about the NSX I bought a '92 NSX R that @UltimateLurker ran. I added just the parts I needed and tuned it and had the fastest lap and total time so far. I bought 2 others, different year models as well but haven't done anything with them yet. I wonder which one will be the fastest. The NSX is not one of my favorite cars because of the LM Prototype being one of the go to cars for Super Laps just like the GSX. Once I have tuned and run the race I'll just add them to this post. I'm trying to get under 5 minutes for the race. If the NSX doesn't do it I think maybe the '97 Supra will.

Has anyone tried the lowest PP to win I currently hold the record in our group at 395. The car in question is a Honda Civic Type R (EK9)
With a little bit of tuning here and there (mainly suspension, gears and diff), tyre setup is medium/hard (sport compound).
Bhp184
Weight 1,046kg
Weight distribution 54/46

Normally i would only tune for higher PP and race lower PP cars with Stock settings, but since i'm getting closer to complete the Single Player campaign and there are only fast races left, it was relaxing - still difficult - to try a tuned car at 390PP for your challenge.

Used a Mazda Roadster '91 tuned up from 351PP, only ABS1 as driving aid.

Still think the Stock challenges are better, as tuning can take a lot of time away from racing.

Thanks for the challenge nonetheless!

@JDM Jeff Here is my score for "min pp on tuned car" at Tsukuba performed by a 370PP/SM Honda CR-X based on de-powered 400CS @praiano63 tune.
Better lap time has been 1:05.550.
Considering the race time (5:52) there are still some margins to win by lower PP.

Moreover the Nissan R390 score tuned at max event requirement: 540pp/SM.
Better lap time has been 55.102 but during another unlucky race.
Tune is an elaboration of the original 550PP/SS @praiano63 setup.

ABS=1 only for both races.

ciao

PS: Yesterday I put these scores in the Tsukuba TT instead of here
