Pretty basic, stock NASCAR set for 205 mph. Not at all like "Like the Wind" race. Caught lead pack of 5 easily and played with them for a couple laps, then passed for a routine win. AI slows too much in T1 and T3.

Did not like this one at all. Used a random car with the street tune. Dropped all downforce to nothing, 330km/h gearing. They are easy to overtake but once you overtake they're on your tail and dont mind pitting you.

Also never had to change out of 4th gear the whole race.

Took the lead on lap 2. Cruise to victory. Just set up the car so you can go flat out the entire lap.

I used an Exeter tune on my Juan Montoya car, it had the wrong FD for this race, but I won anyway (had to do a bit of blocking here and there). One, and done...I HATE NASCAR.

and another Charger ... beautifull car anyway ... took it in black :)

just dont make the front too "good" ... this does not require much steering :D

With the 200% login bonus the time is finally right to load up my garage with all of the NASCARs available in the game.

(I've only got the single Jeff Gordon prize car).

So win, purchase, win purchase. Or in other words: Lather, rinse, repeat.

As easy as this events sounds, I should have them all in hour or two.

Stock settings on a 2013 Denny Hamlin Toyota except for an oil change and lowering the DF for the win by a margin of just 0.255 sec. Won and done with this one. The Intermediate and Expert Races are heads about this one. I really only wanted the chrome chip for bronze.

I saw the preview thing in the news section that said "NASCAR" and I immediately thought "I hope it's two laps with 43 cars and you start dead last to make it kind of hard" and it ends up being 12 cars, single file. No matter: no downforce, 224mph, stay low, watch your mirrors. Easy-Peasy Lemon Squeezy.

I would like that 43 cars thing though. They could even name it "Epic Whining and Crying on the Internet Seasonal" and if you win it you get all the cars and unlock all of the locked stuff like the hackers exposed in GT5.

Really easy as it's flat all the way around and the AI slows down. I do find it funny that all the road cars are way too quick in a straight line, but in the Chevy I struggle to get above 215 mph with minimum downforce. One of these cars with no plate would do 230+ mph easily.

Also brought back memories of the Daytona round of the B-Spec NASCAR championship from GT5, thankfully I don't have any issues overtaking a car in a straight line unlike the AI did.

I'll be trying this race tomorrow Saturday. Too late now.
Hope it's as easy as you guys say or else :grumpy:
