Must be the only engine in GT5 that gains 70+ PP during break-in. :)

if u put full ballast, take off the turbos, take off aero, and detune a non broken in engine, u will b able 2 do it. u can also break it in, but no oil change.

Lowest I can get is 732PP
@200kg Ballasst
50% Power
Aero set to minimum
There is no turbo for this car.

EDIT:
Just did a 6:00.2xx in the 2J with no Aids.
Then turned on SRF and AS and did a 5:56.02x
I didnt use any shortcuts across grass or anything.

I'd say its possible to go nearly 10seconds or more faster as I made a bunch of mistakes.

Just for kicks I detuned my FGT as low as it will go... 733 with full ballast to the front after recently changing the oil, approx 6,000 miles. Then I bought some racing soft tires and I took it to the closest event I could think of to approximate this... the GT All Stars 1 lap of the Nordschleife.

Best I could manage in 2 full tries (+3 or 4 tries I abandoned after clearing the field) was 5:51.777, though I'm sure there's a bit more time to be found for me, let alone a better driver*. 5:45 is quite believable at 733PP, but probably not 650. With the R8 on pole you can get first by the fourth or fifth corner -- the one everybody wrecks at -- so it's a lot easier to get a clean track to race on than in the seasonal.

I actually had to run a lower gear ratio than the one I used to win Cote d'Azur last night(final non-endurance race won!), that's some serious de-tuning.


*I'm of course assuming everybody runs with no aids at all and doesn't cut any corners. :)

I have been using Yellowhat nissan GT-R, 6:24 best lap, assists off except trac control set at 2. Im an average player also, using ps3 controller. nice car tho

it seemed the lowest anyone could get an FGT was 711PP

Toyota GT-One Race Car did for me perfect, with some tunes I was the fastest :)
 
For a challenge, you guys should try the ISF RM. I managed to eventually get 1st when the mclaren wasnt in the lineup. Got 1st 3 corners before the straight. Just remember it has EIGHT gears, :lol:

Just tried it in the S2000 GT1 Turbo with a time of 6.40.xxx 2nd place
Ford GT LM race car spec II 6.38.xxx
Almost had him leading onto the straight but I clipped the grass

I don't believe in a 650pp fgt, people would have used it by now. I checked the f7, f10 and can get 690pp without degrading but can you degrade 40pp? doubtful.

Yeah, not surprised your having trouble with a pic of that. I hope no one is waisting time trying to make a 650pp fgt, time better spent running the 2j 👍
 
I used the ZR1 Rm Corvette on racing mediums (round 620 HP ~ 649 PP), won with 3+ secs lead
 
Done it with the XANAVI GT-R in 6.14.xxx
Stage 3 turbo and engine, slight suspension and aero changes. 700bhp with RS tyres

Good timing there.

Tried the Xanavi GTR and 10 seconds slower than you. Interestingly, manage 6:14.xxx in G35 TC which is much easier to achieve than Xanavi. I've got loads more learning in the Ring to do.
 
I prefer the standard Xanavi nismo over the premium, but I can't tell if he was using the standard or premium
 
To be honest I was surprised myself, lots of drafting and no crashing, bashing or skidding. It may have been my best lap ever
 
Just managed a 6:03.586 with the R35 TC RS tires no AIDS only ABS 1.
 
RS? So you didn't want a challange ^^
