A-Spec Extreme Series Formula GT event saving option

is this saving option new for all "longer" events?
I mean its not to bad, now i can save when im tiered of a series or i can reload it, when i messed up.
But its anoying, i can only save the current status before or after a race and then turn of my PS3.
When turn on my PS3 again i can continue at the last saved point at the event, but i cannot play another series or play online.
So in my opinion the save option has failed.
What do you think? hand how do you handle with it?
 
I agree its a bit pointless it should be upto me when i want to go back to it. Not as soon as i switch back on.
 
Well before it was added you would have to do the entire series in one go so the save feature is much better. It's the same as it was in GT4 which is fine by me.
I just hope in race saves are going to be added for the endurance events, I think only two people have ever completed the Le Mans 24hours by themselves in real life.

Agreed 100%, the new save option is fine and a big improvement. More "freedom" with it is completely unneccessary.
