Hi guys,

Just wondering if anyone knows which of the currently available seasonals give out the most XP relative to the time it takes to complete them. Obviously the time taken for completion depends on the vehicle, its specs and driving ability, but rough estimates will do

For example, in the French Championships I can do 3 laps of the Autumn Ring in under 4min20s using the 206 Rally Car '99. It yields around 46,000 XP for 1st place. Including gaps between races, thats about 46k XP per 5mins, or about 550,000 XP per hour.

There is likely to be a better earner than this - in fact this was literally the first race I stumbled upon to exemplify the XP/per hour.

Would love to hear your thoughts

Kind Regards,
G

Le Sarthe race in the newest Ferrari event, if you do like most of the other grinders and just cut every corner you can get 500,000 credits in 3.20 secs or less. I like doing it normally though, more satisfying.

Sounds promising, thanks shepzki. How much XP does it give though? I'm more interested in grinding for XP than for credits :p

I don't remember off hand, around 50,000ish I think.

Just checked by doing it - did it in 3min59s although my ferrari was around 70 PP less than the maximum requirement - so I'd like to believe 3min20 is do-able given the right car specs. Anyway, the XP for 1st place was 43,200 so not bad. If I can get my laptimes down to 3min20 then the turnaround time should be 4mins per race (including menu screens). So about 650,000 XP per hour

Not positive but I believe the Lightweight K Cup Eifel race is still the best XP. Can't remember exactly how much XP you get but races are under 3 minutes.

I still go back daily to the eifel track in supercar series simply because i can use almost any car and its such a fun track.

I've added all the seasonal events to my matrix, for those that are interested. Suffice it to say, the Circuit de la Sarthe race in La Festa Cavallino is the best for grinding, period.

Only if all you want is credits and a helmet.

Lightweight K Cup Eifel is best for XP.

Not sure of fastest way to win suits.

I don't consider the seasonals grinding. More like good races with a reasonable payout (Cr and XP).

The k cup seasonal event eiffel track yields the best xp/min ratio i believe.
You get 53400 xp in around 2:50 to 3 mins depending on how well you tune up your car and driving skill. You can even go much faster than that.

I did this race to pretty much get from level 33 to 38.
Cheers

Yeah ive been going for money and suits and helmets not XP i could care less.
I do Sarthe for money cause you get half a million and a helmet definitly under 4 minutes and then I do the Super GT at Nurburgring for a suit. I just enjoy the track.

The suits are always seem to take longer to get but I think the fastest way to get one is one lap at Nurburgring in the British Light Wieght series?

I tuned up an elise 72 '01 and i think i could do possibly a 7:00 minute lap. Im sure theirs a better faster fully upgraded elise. Was the only one I had and it was already tuned kinda and I did the series on the same tires, HP and PP as the elise 72 was running first...then I went fully loaded for lowest time at Nurb.:)

Yeah, I realized I had the old amounts in for the first set of seasonals. Since a recent update, they are now worth 3x as much XP, and so the Lightweight K Cup Eifel is the best. I've fixed/updated my sheet.

Not sure of fastest way to win suits.

I've found the fastest way to win suits is the Civic seasonal at special stage route 5. 56 seconds/lap for 5 laps approx. 5 min for race compared to 6:50 min for Brit light wt. at Nurb.

I think the "funnest" grinding is the Mt Aso French championship. Take the Renault Lutecia sport trophy race car '00. What a blast, hitting the uphill bank at 120+.

My best lap is 1:13-ish so far 54600 XP.

Edit: I just hit 1:10.150

I think I tried nearly every K car for the Lightweight K Cup, and have come to the conclusion that the Daihatsu Mira is the best car. This car can be tuned up to 200HP. Just make sure you DON'T do any weight reductions... I made that mistake, and wasted a good car... had to trade to get it back.

The problem is that if you add the weight reduction, it increases the PP too much. When you try to add ballast to bring the PP back to 420, it maxes at 200kg, mean you have to take away engine power to meet the requirement. For this reason, it's best to leave it heavy, with a slightly lower PP, so that when you add ballast, you can do so while leaving all/most of the engine power intact. Then just put the transmission up to 190km/h, and off you go.

Laps on Eifel and Madrid were consistantly under 3 minutes, and I'm not even that good of a driver :)

Time for one more race to finally hit level 40 A-spec!

Actually I have a tune up in my garage in the tuning forum for a maxed out Cuore/Mira. I use all weight reduction and the high RPM turbo. What you don't want to do is put a wing on the car that adds unnecessary PP and hurts overall performance. I've turned 2:49s on Eifel and better drivers have used the tune to get even faster times. Just got a new transmission tune for it that can shave a few more tenths off the lap time as it will pull out of corners faster.

I've been going back through some of the older seasonals. While the payout isn't nearly as good ($114k), the FF challenge on Eifel is great for XP and for cycling the UCD quickly. It gives 36,600 XP and can be done in around 2:20 in the Honda Integra Type R Touring Car. Not sure if there is a better FF car, but with an actual tune (I haven't touched any suspension/trans/lsd settings) and a better driver, I wouldn't be surprised if someone couldn't do it in 2:15. That would be over 16k XP per minute and a whole new UCD in under 12 minutes.

Dia_J, that is a lot faster than Le Mans grinding for XP.

I've got so much money I don't know what to do with it, so that might be my new move.

A quick run around in my tuned Dodge SRT4 provided a time of 2:20, and that was under sloppy driving skills :D Now I'm curious to see what else can be used...

The Cellica SSII '03 seems a few seconds faster than the Integra Touring Car, and yet the SRT trumps both in HP (585) and PP (575). Maybe I need to tweak it a bit :D

Ok, after much tweaking and racing of cars, I've come to the conclusion that the best car is the Mitsubishi Eclipse GT '06, followed by the Trial Cellica SSII. The best premium appears to be the Citroen C4. I managed a 2:17 in the Eclipse, so I'm sure more pro drivers could do even better.

Agreed. I've been doing this for the past couple of nights trying to get more suits. My helmet to suit ratio is decidedly out of balance. My best 5-lap total so far using a 97' Civic non-RM is 4:45.6 with a best lap of 55.7. I am sure that others are faster, but I am always in a competition with myself.

If anyone knows of a faster car for this track or a faster car/track combo, or if someone is so inclined to gift me more talent...please reply.

Lightweight K Cup Eifel is best for XP.

Thanks for this.

I hit level 39 last night. Been grinding LaFesta Cavallino/LeSarthe mainly for credits on my way to 1000 cars, but now just looking at the best XP/min for the last 7.5 million XP.

I've just been doing the all Ferrari race at Le Mans. I mostly do it for the cash though, and for the helmets as I am in search of the Stig's helmet and suit. I'm currently trying to gather all the cars, so 500k cash a race isn't too shabby for 3 and a half minutes of work.

For credits, do the SuperGT Eifel race, you gain more credits than the Ferrari Le Sarthe race.

For suits/helmets anything in the Civic races, or lightweights, and the roadster events.
