I agree with everything said here, excellent job by administrators, moderators, super mods, and of course Jordan 👍 👍 👍 👍 👍

This is the most civilised forum around, and the most informing and friendly. Any information I want, I am guaranteed to find it here. Thus GTPlanet is now, and has been for a while, my homepage.

Bring on 100 000 members :)

That's not a bad idea. Gonna try that for while.

This place rocks and you guys rock. By the far, the best message board I've ever come across. I don't plan on leaving anytime soon.

Thanks for everything you guys do! 👍

Yep. I don’t even know what I used to do on the internet before I found GTP…

Your not the only one:lol:

this is a very special and great forum, I have nearly been here for 2 years now and I will never regret signing up, it truly is the place to be:D

I remember, I went to play flash games....boooooooooring. The internet now has a meaning to me! 👍

And you've been to one off the UKGTP and met some of the mods and members...

Ah yes, UKGTP6... although I was a bit miffed with Ashley (or Ashers as he calls himself now)... I asked him the question "If there was one GTP member you'd like to see here who isn't here already, who would it be?" and he said "Bite Me!" :guilty: :p

As mentioned in my recent thread, I really, really like this place. One of the reasons for that is the staff I've so oft criticized in the past. I've visited a number of other forums recently and come to the conclusion that we've got something really special here. I'm glad the members realize it.

On the topic of GTPremium... Jordan, make it so that I can charge it (and not use PayPal, which is complicated and, in my view, insecure) and you've got a subscriber in me.
Thanks for the kind words, and good to see you again, M5Power! You can actually charge GTPremium to a credit card without creating a PayPal account - after selecting a GTPremium subscription and entering PayPal's site, simply choose "Use your credit card or bank account (where available)." at the bottom of the page, enter your information, and you're done. Granted, I understand many people are wary of Paypal, but this method is really no different than any other CC processor. Still, I am working on other payment methods so this may be an option for you in the future. :)

Yes, I was a candidate myself but couldn't pay because I only have a debit card (found that out recently). Now that I got premium as a gift I don't need a solution anymore.
Jordan I PM'ed you about my problem and request and never got an answer but isn't it possible to use a bank account number?? It's so much easier to just tranfer the money, even internationnaly. I was going to give premium to a friend of mine on this forum as well but he doesn't have a credit card either, so I wasn't able to give him a present (premiun) either. I wanted to tranfer the money onto his account so he could pay.
I apologize - I don't recall receiving your PM, but yes you can easily use your bank account or debit card with PayPal.

well i'll say this much im only on this site about 99% of the time i'm on the net. this is my second home

No problem.
I didn't know that. I was a candidate for months but I didn't want to use paypal.

The Admin and moderators on here do a grand job, many forums seem to get idiotic members that post utter tripe and are generally rude and not very literate too.

What's your secret?

We work hard and aren't afraid to ban people for being idiots.

Me neither :|

"If there was one GTP member you'd like to see here who isn't here already, who would it be?" and he said "Bite Me!" :guilty: :p
Not surprising... don't look at his post in the "[insert secret title here] Nominations" thread in the Premo forum then ;)

And though I'm not a fanboy, I have to admitt that this is one of the most organized forums I've seen.

Amen to that! I used to consider boardsus.playstation.com (official Playstation forums) to be my "home forum". But the more time I spent here the more I couldn't stand the idiots over there. Grammar is not enforced, there are ten threads of the same topic on the first page of any given subforum, etc, etc. Exactly the opposite here. Sure, you get a few people who use horrible grammar and a couple of reposts here, but the grammar is almost always corrected and reposts tend to be mistakes as opposed to laziness.

Very few forums can match GTP in staff, appearance, and organization. You start to take it for granted until you go to a different forum. I've actually been to a few forums that have stickies for new members to read that have made me not go to that site. I won't hide it. It was www.runehq.com (probably the best website for Runescape...Yeah, I used to play a lot!). Join up and read some of the stickies. You would be amazed at what they say new members CANNOT do. I understand completely that they don't want people coming in and wreaking havoc with threads asking for help, but they are way past obsessed.

Anyways, back on topic...

Jordan, I want to extend a personal Thank You for taking the time to create this place several years ago and continue to keep upgrading it into what it has become today. You run this thing mostly from you own wallet because you want to. I know it isn't much, but I'll continue to renew my yearly membership for as long as I use this site.

And for the rest of the staff...

I think we have the most colorful staff of any place I've ever been to. We have Faminein his Indigo...Err, wrong kind of color! Every staff member is pretty laid back and do their share of telling off the troublemakers in the most humorous way they can. They all (mostly) have a great sense of humor and allow many borderline threads to continue on for the sake of humor as long as it doesn't get out of control.

This round's on me...!

This is the best run forum I have ever seen and one of the two that I belong to. I love this place and the people on it. So thank you Jordan and staff for creating and running such an awesome forum! :)

That's quite funny, "Characteristics of Famine" "Today, Famine strikes Africa". I've almost forgotten the real meaning of the word famine since I've been on GTPlanet

No offence directed at you, Famine.

well i'll say this much im only on this site about 99% of the time i'm on the net. this is my second home

That would be around the same percentage of my internet time as well 👍

I wasn't aware PayPal gave that option. I'm in - except the link you gave didn't work, and I'm not competent enough to find it on my own. Help!

I have a link to the GTPremium mini-site in my sig ;)

I joined this place back at the end of middle school. I'm already in college. I love this place. I'm sure I'll still be around another five plus years. 👍

Thanks for giving me something so great to support, J! 👍

Why would you advertise the link to GTPremium if you yourself don't have it?

If Jordan bit my hand, I'd box him well enough to incur a strong protest from PETA.
