Why are the forums now littered with little pointless threads like this? "My GT story" by A.nyone.... This isn't Facebook you know.

Look at me, I may or may not be playing and/or enjoying GT5 anymore...

Because more and more that's all people have left to talk about...

Early on some people saw that things were shaping up poorly and got shot down by those who were having a good time...

But as time goes on and the grindwall hits and the lack of solid, deep Aspec takes it's toll and all the buggy weirdness of GT5 starts getting really annoying more and more people realize and voice that "holly crap... it's not as good as I thought".

I remember there was a time when speculation was high that when GT5 came out it would be so awesome that the forums would die as everyone spent all their free time GT5ing and hardly any time was left for posting on the forums...

While that's a bit of a stretch to imagine, a somewhat opposing situation is cropping up where people not only have time to post on forums because GT5 isn't taking up all their time, they are posting unhappy things on forums becuase that's what's now on their minds.
 
Agreed. Then it seems almost every one of these threads has other people on the other side of the fence. Getting what appears to be angry at the fact that unhappy/bored people want to voice their opinions.
Why do people get angry at this?!

Pokemon has online?

Actually the secret of GTs success as a series rests heavily on the iterations that had no online... GT5's success is largely momentum and hype marketing... while the online portion is a saving grace in some ways, it's also one of the major let downs.

Because we have dozens of threads on the same subjects. While I'm all for people voicing their disappointment, excessive duplication of topics doesn't serve any useful purpose.

Well that's me. As a mod, it just annoys me, because it means more work... For everyone else, if you don't want to read the rants, just ignore them.
