I dont know if this has been posted before cause I havent been here in a while, but while i was making my video I decided to screw around and try to get the MUSIC OPTION replay (the one with all the funky colors and cool views) to be in my control

Here is how to do it:

Replay starts
Press Pause
Take out the CD (keep the tray open)
switch to the funky mode
enjoy :D

when done u can put the cd back in and it will work, if you put it in too late then there will be a black screen for like 20 seconds - dont worry u can put the CD back at any time, just give the PS2 some time to think and it will work!

ENJOY :D

is this to get no music during funky replay?

You can also start the replay on normal mode with no music, and then after like 5 seconds press start, switch to funky mode, the music will still remain off.

Ya the music is off but the views still change, if u take the cd out the views dont change (u have to do it urself) and there is no music - but there is SFX

whoa.. serious?? must try it.. *get some techno music* lol
if ya do it with rap... i do NOT wanna know whats gonna happen.. switch frames every ... 0.1 secodn! lol

NO WAY!!!! That RULES!!!!
That's exactly right. I just happened to notice this last night. If you pop the GT disc out while it is doing a replay, the camera freezes at that point of view and the music disappears. The replay itself must be held in RAM because it keeps going.

So you could station yourself at a good view and watch the cars come around a big sweeper or something, but you'd get a lot of empty track as well while they were on the back stretch.

What about during races?

A custom CD for those damn Endurances sounds might fun...is it possible? or only during replays?

How do you video jockeys control the views so completely? Is that a function of the Replay Theatre (which I've never even opened)?

Also, can somebody please explain the differences between the four main types of replay in the regular "Replay Options" screen you get after every race? Thanks.

PS - anybody besides me think that your own performance usually looks a hell of a lot better during the replay than it felt like when you were driving it?
