Here's a wacky idea. Pick a track and start a race on whatever time slot you want. Have a race for an hour or so. Start the next race on the next time slow with the starting order being the finishing order of the previous race.

So in a way you have a time changing endurance race but it's broken up into segments. I know it's stupid but it's the closest thing to having long races and experiencing different shadows from beginning of the gaming session to the end. Rolling starts of course because you're resuming the race.

Kind of think of it as a yellow caution flag to bunch the field back up and then you go green right before the start/finish.

Australian GT does this in some of their endurance races. Start one day, finish the next. Not so silly.

Shame, I thought Kaz said time would change during pit stops. Might have to look for a quote/article.

I'm aware it's not really a longer race. It's just to "simulate" time change by having multiple long races using each consecutive time slot at a track. His edgy comment is a moot point.

I'm talking about 60-90 minute races. Personally I consider that just past sprint race length but what anyone else thinks of as a sprint race can differ so that's fine. Let's not argue over what's a sprint race or not.

They should have just implemented a pit stop time change,
So, does that work when you pit? When the leaders pit? When the first to pit pits? When the last out of the pits pits? There's too many variables to that, and "just when you pit" isn't a viable work for it because there's too many varying factors for that to ever be plausible.

How bout it happens when you pit? Time doesnt change on your screen untill you pit. So if you pit 1 lap earlier, you see the "afternoon" time, while tge others still see the "morning" time

So if you get lapped in the first race, do you start the 2nd race a lap down?

No because the start of the next race is like a full course caution so imagine lapped cars get to come back on the leading lap

You do know its possible for X player to have a different environment than Y player right? I seriously doubt in drive club every drop of rain/ tree moving is identical in every ones ps4, that stuff runs independently to the rest of the game. Second, I was talking about single player, I doubt any significant portion of the community is down to play for 3-4 hours.
