So after tuning and tuning and more tuning.. the best I could run my GT-R '09 was 9.050 no matter what I did. Trust me, I'm not slow by any stretch.

After running almost literally a million different transmission, I went and look to see if I had all my HP parts on and suspension parts, which I did.

Getting more frustrated I finally checked my drivertrain only to notice I forget to put my racing flywheel on.. REALLY?

First run after that was a 9.030 which is with a now bad transmission tune.

So for your warning, if you think you are having problems, don't neglect your drivetrain.

So true! And I like to check my cars on stage x before i get online cause sometimes for no reason my tune will just be slower? End up having to re tune it

I had a little ballast on a Viper once. Took me about 2 hours to realize

Never doing that again. Check power limiter and ballast always

Lol if someone else plays your GT5(Little Brother) , well I wouldn't call him little. Check your TC! I got on Route X put a quick tune on a car, ran it and was like...wait a minute something's wrong. Checked the settings a behold TC was set to 5 lol what a noob road racer lol.

Yeah I done it with my LMQ was stuck at 8.905 for the best of 5 months! Before I seen I didn't have the aftermarket clutch lol

i had the same problem with mine lol it was only running 9.046, which isnt to bad anyway, but i knew i could get more and sure enough i checked the flywheel and it wasnt installed lol now it runs a 9.027 timed launch :)

This just happened. Wow. I did not have any aftermarket headers. Before I ran like 0.025 slower. Just did some transmission tweaks.......

My nissan 300zxTT was so slow and I didnt know why?? I had the engine power down!! it was like 85%..I felt so dummm....:guilty:

Yep, it happens sometimes. Especially if you do other things than drag. But I usually see if I have limited power because the powerband will be different. But, if it's at like 98% or something its hard to notice.

One time I was tuning an Integra and it was running a decent time but not fast enough, I must have went thru 5-6 different gear sets when I finally realize it had sports soft tires, who knows maybe a ruined a perfect tune without knowing. :grumpy:

 Been there done that!

I felt like the biggest noob last night, i tuned a stage 2 supra but couldnt figure out why it wasnt launching, then i realised i still had the stage 3 turbo on :/ biggest fail.

The Stage 2 Supra literally has no bog, it's amazing. Same amount of HP, more torque, but yet slower 1/4 times.

I get the opposite swara, my stage 3 black screen gets 9.956, my stage 2 get 9.944 black screen, the extra mid range is amazing.

Oh okay, that makes sense, since my transmission wasn't tuned for the mid RPM range :)

Here's a dumb:censored: moment. I was copying a tune and failed to realize where the ballast was positioned. Spent forever trying to figure it out. Finally with some help from yall, telling me to look at the obvious and it slapped me it the face when I looked at the weight distribution.

Thanks for the help
