:ouch:

Is there anyone that can actually do the nurb without hud or assists?:nervous:

Take it easy. I needed racing softs and maxed out downforce to do it. It's like the first seasonal in months I've had to up the tire grade over my competitors.

No assists, Racing Hards, no problem. Beat them by just over 20 seconds.

I actually enjoy doing it in cockpit view without HUD, all assists off (including ABS), and racing hards. I like the FGT after the update whatever they did to it...👍

It's not that hard. Are you using a controller? I did it first try without assists and in manual with the DFGT. But with Racing Soft I think.

You don't HAVE to rush and get first place as fast as you can. I personally prefer to wait for safe straights and draft them till I have enough speed. Also, look up for tunings on the forums. Some of them really make the FGT's handling better.

That's the only way I do it unless i'm in a standard. 👍

ANY Nürburgring track will tear you apart. I've remembered how much I have struggled in various events in GT5 ranging from some of the various license tests to the Vettel Challenge event and the Super GT Seasonal. It takes a good deal of practice to take on any Nürburgring course. So my only advice... KEEP AT IT!

Using a dfgt. I almost get it at some points, I restarted after every spin out. I tried to keep going a few times but seems impossible to catch up once your doing 360s into the wall.

Its easy if you know the track by heart.

If you don't, amg driving acadamy intermediate (special events) is where you need to go.

I've already made a thread on this last night...

But yea, I'm having the same issues as you :grumpy:

Raise your ride height and/or go with softer suspension. That track is brutal on the FGT's already stiff setup.

👍 One of my favorite events in the game!

I found it quite easy, though I'l be honest I hit the wall a few times, the AI drive slow enough that you can.

Drive stupidly fast and crash a few times, but still win by a long way.
Drive slow and careful, and still win easily. Once you're out infront just take a cruise.

I hated the event because the FFB and wheel were so heavy and strong, I was worried for the life of my steering wheel, not a fan of the car in general to be honest.

You should learn to make your titles better and to the point 💡

;)

But it exactly explains the issue I have been having, why would I call it something completely unrelated to the issue?

Some people need pictures like pre-schoolers to better understand something. It's not your fault.

If you aksed me 10 months ago, i would have said, no way. Ask me now, and its easy.

Damn my wrist hurts from gripping the wheel so hard :(

ANY car that is driven on this track, Must have suspension and dampers softened, ride height raised above 0, if you want to drive effortlessly, yet maintaining high margin of safety and consistency. Oh, and your arms will also thank you.

My time in a F1 2007 is 4:58, and little to no wheel shake nor undesirable handling changes. PM me if you want Nur tune for it.

Oh, and you must absolutely disable every driving AID, including ABS. All. Zero.
I can drive this lap subconsciously now, i absolutely love this track, I vow to go there and give it a whirl in RL.
Respect the car's AND Track's limitations at key areas, it will reward you more than you'll ever know. A safe clean lap over 22KM in length, is far more rewarding, than a stressful one with 1 or 2 crashes. (even if in the grass for an instant)

What I love about GT5 and this track, it's like playing an instrument, with time and practice and varied approaches and experience, your lap times will improve daily, while the effort and stress will decrease.

Wow. Great post. I, along with 60-95% of casual and avid GT5 users, would learn something/everything from that post.

I did them all except suzuka found that one the hardest and i thought monaco was gonna be the toughest :)

Not to sure if they do now but when they get to the 2nd past corner(i think) nearly all of them spin out
