kekke2000In GT3 there were a save button and if you got out of the championship you couldn't go back and finish it... how is it in GT4? i can't see a save button but there are two ways to quit... "Abandon all.." and "Exit", what happens if i press exit?
StargazerYou'll exit to the main screen and you will see text in the upper left corner telling you that you are in the middle of a championship series. You can enter your garage and save if you want--it will save automatically if you have autosave on. You'll be limited to what you can actually do (i.e. enter other race areas, change cars). It will ask you if you want to continue the series whenever you try to enter somewhere you can't go.
Yes, you can enter GT Auto, wash your car and change your oil. You can not change tires or wings.Super Jamiethat would mean you can FINALLY change your oil in the middle of a series, yes?
FlaandersThis is definately a plus, so that means I can actully turn off my ps2 instead of leaving it on untill I finish. If only I could say the same for endurance races, but I suppose that would make the "endurance" part meaningless...
kekke2000what do you mean? in GT3 there were a save button in the championship...
Jows73LOL I too was confused by that statement - I am sure there wasn't. Anyway you can save in the middle of a series race in GT4 which is good and then continue at some other time.
👍
JSIYou could save part way through a championship in GT3. After you finished a race in the series if you saved. When you started the game up it would take you to were you left off.
I used it many times to "cheat" to get the car I wanted when you had the multiple prize car draw at the end of some series.
