I saw that too, and the response. So much of it didn't sit right. I live near Avonmouth docks and know that thousands of Japanese cars are shipped in there on huge cargo ships. They have to sit somewhere before they are taken away around the country. And the BMW Swindon plant is alive and well, it's where a lot of European MINIs are put together. It's a really crappy article when you examine it closely.

Yeah the second looks to be an SVO

EDIT: Nah it's probably just a GT Turbo but still rare.

Looks like it's a shell with no engine to me. If there was a better image of the rear end rather than this cut off then we'd know for sure.
 
Well, I'm an idiot. That body shop that I thought was abandoned wasn't. I recently saw last week people dropping a couple other cars there; one of them I think was a Thunderbird.
