Ability To Edit Polls

I think it would be more of a convienience to allow regular members to edit their polls if they find an error in their poll or want to add an option. Or at least maybe a Premium feature?

I have always wanted to be able to edit polls when I make a mistake. When I used to have the photo manipulation contest, I used to leave out an entry and it was always a pain because I couldn't edit the poll.

I remember thinking you used to be able to but I could be wrong. I think the reason you cant edit poles is because editing an option could change it's meaning and you dont want that after someone has voted it. also adding an option after the fact could effect the outcome of the pole wherein someone may have voted that instead but couldn't before. Just my take on the situation.

Well then Jordan can restrict certain options you can edit. Or at least make the features for premium members.

I've searched and searched, but I can't find any way to enable this for a specific usergroup. It appears to be a moderator-only option. But that's just as well - the edit poll feature allows users to edit both poll options and poll vote numbers, and I would like our polls here to remain as credible as possible. Don't forget that you can always use the "Preview Poll" feature before posting it to make sure you have everything right.

People sometimes give good suggestions to add to the poll after the fact. Oh well. I don't even see why they would give even mods the option to edit poll numbers.
