Hey guys, I want to know if you agree with getting the ability of playing all games in a GT. For example, you're on GT7, if you see a "GT Concept", you can click "Play". It will also create memory cards (PSOne, PSX, PS2, PSP, PS3, PS4....)

What do you think?

I am sorry but I don't understand. What is the purpose of the memory cards? Is it to use the car in GT on other systems? If so, that would never work.

GT could do like Madden 25 and show pictures and facts about old versions of the game.

Just buy the old games if you want to play them. If they're not being sold anymore, feel free to download them from somewhere and use an emulator. No need for Polyphony to bundle old GT games with the current ones.

GT1 has aged rather well, and is still a lot of fun to play (for me at least). ^^ Shows that raw graphical fidelity isn't the only important thing for a racing game.

Is because when I download PS2 games, we have to wait 1 or 2 hours! PS1 games are downloaded faster. I have ePSXe on my computer and it works very good although it has little lags sometimes. :)

Err... if your PC is having any trouble emulating a PS1, you might not want to try emulating a PS2 on it. o.o
I'm quite sure the PS2 and GT4 were produced in sufficient quantities that there will be plenty of secondhand copies for sale online, even today.

Marketing reasons...
They would lose money...
Bad idea...👎

GT works will not lose money if they have license. All games also will gain money. If they don't have the license, they have to antecipate on the court.

Ahahaha, what now?! Why would they do that?! EXTREME amounts of work for little reward.

You know what? I'd rather have all the GT games, but separate. GT's 1-2 must be PS1 classics on the PS Store as well as GT's 3 and 4 as PS2 classics. GT5 must also be downloadable, although online gameplay of GT5 is dead now.

I don't really care much about playing older GT games on current consoles but it would be awesome if PD added all original tracks from every GT game into GT6.
There's no licensing involved, no need to scan the track and collect weather data, so it should be easier than adding real tracks. Adding all original tracks would add a lot of replay value into GT6, especially if PD adds career events that use the additional tracks, like CM did with Dirt 3's DLC tracks and SMS did with Shift 2's Legends DLC.

If the track last appeared in GT4 or earlier, it will have to be mostly rebuilt for GT6 (or any later games). While there is probably a bit less work required compared to adding a completely new track, tracks aren't added solely based on how much work it takes to add them.

Here's a problem with that idea, no one would keep their PS1, PS2, or PS3 systems if you have them
all in one game for PS4.Really not good idea.

Does anybody still have a PS2 or PSX anyways. My PS2 died years ago, and most PS2s sold online are used, those are bound to die eventually.

Anyways it would be nice to have GT1 to 4 on PS4, but no because licencing issues.

I still have my PS2 and Playstation. They still work. (It's been a -very- long time since I started the Playstation but I think it'll still work since it's just been in storage for that long time.) I don't think there are any licensing issues with bringing GT1-4 to the PS4; just technical issues. ie It would take more work than it's worth to port them to PS4. That said... I think Nintendo ported Ocarina of Time to the Wii.

They can be emulated, not exactly ported, PS4 should be in theory powerful enough to run PS2 hardware, plus there's already an x86 emulator. Sony can just modify and use that and BAM, GT4 on PS4.

Maybe a Gran Turismo HD collection would suffice? For the PS3 and possibly for the PS4, the GT HD Collection would have Gran Turismo 1, Gran Turismo 2 on Disc One and Gran Turismo 3, Gran Turismo 4 on Disc 2. For the PS4 on the other hand, the GT HD Collection would contain Gran Turismo 5 and Gran Turismo 6 on Disc One and maybe Gran Turismo 3, Gran Turismo 4, and Gran Turismo PSP on Disc Two. What'd you think? :)
