I think the title explains itself.

So, why? Well...I don't know if this happens in other cars, but the Honda CR-Z TC battery gets empty after about 2 hotlaps in a "normal" circuit, and there's no way to go only with the main engine. This becomes a problem when you are in a "box start" (or whatever it's called in the English version) online lobby and you have only a single lap to qualify, because you start it with half the battery. And the electric motor is a real boost.

So I think there should be a button to turn off it and at least get an extra lap.

What do you think?

Can you do that in the actual car?

No?

OK then.

Did you even read the OP?
Yes, I did. But the electric power only makes you faster, and you're only going to have the same amount of power in reserve anyway, so turning it off wouldn't really amount to much. Most hybrid cars would not be quite as fast as they should be with their electric motors.

A better suggestion for PD would be: Please emulate electric motors and their range more accurately. ;)

P.S. As Azure Flare said, you can't even do it in the real car... so why should you be able to do it in GT?

The CR-Z Touring Car, Nissan VGT, etc. are fictional hybrid cars. And the reason why I want to turn off the motor is just that one you have said. It's a big but very short boost, and you spend it when you don't need it.

English is not my native language, so maybe that's the problem.

P.S. Title changed.
