About Chassis Maintenance

Hi all, lately I've been thinking about doing chassis maintenance a lot in GT Auto. I'm wondering whether there's actually any effects of restoring the chassis (other than being a huge drain on your credits). I've done a few and can't really tell if the car handles differently or not (and I'm using a wheel). Just wondering what other people's experiences are with the chassis.

On a related note, how does the chassis maintenance work? As in, I don't even scratch paint in a race and it comes out to 500,000 credits. I don't see how that works. What's the logic behind charging that much just for driving the car? Also does the chassis reinforcement tune do anything?

chassis maintenance is and always will be half the price of the car's original cost, no matter how much or how little "damage" you've done to the car

don't waste your time with it
no one can post data that show it actually does anything.

Okay, I'll just ignore it then. Thanks.

Do it when you notice a SERIOUS handling issue with your car. That will be after MANY MANY MANY races. GT4 had the same feature
