About the updates

Is it still necessary to download the updates in batches or has the download and installation process been fixed?

I usually install them all in one go and never have a problem but it's still on the GT6 news that some people do.

I've experienced a few issues installing and updating GT6 from scratch, one update kept failing to install @ 14% and corrupted my install, turned out to be something ISP related, used another connection and it went through flawlessly,

After that, I managed to install the others in one go, but you do need to leave your PS3 on with GT6 launched when done, to initiate the in-game installation, which takes a few hours,

Thanks guys, I was able to download all the updates with no problem, the in game installation took longer than the downloads though

... which is something that get shorter if you follow the one by one installation setup. it requires more interaction, still, but you can live with that. furthermore, you can also stop the process if it gets too late as well.
