Hello every racer,

because my A-spec level is just 27,

so I have not unlock the Vettel challenge,

then I use the gift X2010 to do time trial in practice mode,

now I try the Nurburgring GP, with no ABS no TCS and all other

assists are off, my fastest lap now is just 1:04.243, but at least

1:03.xxx can pass that challenge,

I wonder whether this X2010 version is different from that in the

Vettel challenge in tuning value? now it's almost my limit, or some

assist is necessary to turn on? Thanks for help!

Make sure your aerodynamics are all set to the lowest possible setting on both front and rear, as that is the settings in the X2010 in the challenge.

No, the aero setting is set to the default, which for the X2011, is more than enough downforce.

Oh okay, I was always sure it was set to the lowest.

Anyways, OP, just keep trying. I personally gave up after only, FINALLY, achieving bronze :ouch:. I used ABS set to 1 but everything else off, so you can try that if you like, but you're probably going faster without it.

i think the challenge is a little easierbecause you get to race against vettel's ghost. i beat the challenge and am pretty sure i beat his ghost time too.

What I want to know is the tuning value of that X2010 in Vettel challenge, and does it differ from X2010 gift version?
(Because X2010 gift version is somehow understeer compared with that X2010 in Vettel challenge in the videos I see.)

The Vettel Challenge is default setup with racing soft tires.

I disagree, it feels extremely different. I tested once by driving a stock Vettel at GP/F and even if I were running slightly more BHP (which I don't remember), it still felt very different, much faster. I think they've definitely changed something on the one in the challenge because it feels inferior despite the tyres.

The one in the challenge has RM. If you buy the X2010 in the dealership, put RM on it.
Other than that, the challenge is default with the exception of the RS tires.

The X2010 can't be race modified, the only upgrades it accepts are tyres and the rigidity improvement. If it were an RM version the Vettel would be better, rather than absolutely terrible. The gearbox isn't even customisable beyond the final gear, which annoys me as the stock ratios are weird.

I'm not able to speak for anybody else here, but I've completed the Vettel challenge with gold and drive the X1 every day. I think the one used in the challenge feels very different to just using the stock setup with RS tyres, but it could just be me.
