I tried searching for an ABS thread and couldn't find one. I guess the change occured in the last update. It's been sitting on one forever and recently been making it 5-8. Then, by accident, discovered it can go all the way to OFF! However, driving it in off is "dangerous!" It want's to skid and I feel you actually have to start breaking sooner than if ABS was in 1.

OK, so How do I turn it off in the NASCAR special events then?

And It was always able to be turned off wasnt it?

made my day :)
wasnt there a similar incident with toyotas in the us where people suddenly discovered the gas pedal?

1. No, there's been DOZENS of threads about ABS. Unfortunately it does highlight a serious limitation of the search function--you need at least 4 characters so typing in ABS will not yield any results.

2. You seem to be confusing turning ABS off with changing the brake bias to 0. (both of which you've been able to do since before the first update).

Here are some threads to better discuss this:

You can't turn it off in the NASCAR series.

....so tell me another one:grumpy:

I always drive with ABS-off when offline. A balance of 5 front and 1 rear works good for me.

As with using an automatic transmission, ABS-on makes driving too easy and feels more arcade like (in my humble opinion).

Is this a reference to Toyota recalling more than 2 million vehicles for stuck gas pedals, or are you trying to be funny? Leave it to a German.

Oh yes you can........

No you can't. In the most up-to-date version the lowest you can set ABS to is 1 as Yamauchi forces ASM to be on to simulate the draft effect. It is retarded, and he refuses to comment on Twitter about it. I tweet him every day asking why he requires the stupidity of ASM for Nascar and no reply for about a month now.

7/3 usually works pretty well for me for most cars (FR, anyway). For the 330 P4 I think I dialed it back to like 4/2 or 5/2; something like that. I think my Formula GT is at 7/4.

I don't know why people complain about not being able to turn ABS/ASM off in the NASCAR Special Events. I started a new account since PSN was down and got gold on all NASCAR events, it didn't even take me more than 3 tries. You just gotta do a little bit of drafting.
