Tell ya what am sick of people joining in my games then moan wanting to,change track and generally try in to upset the game on,once you kick them,they then start with a torrent of abuse and name calling via pm easily blocked but why do it you are, cruise lobby,you set one up and tell people what cars can and can not be used ,all of a sudden some lunatic roll up in a x1 even tho the title of the lobby says cruise road cars no rc ect there's some real lunatics out there ps it's nice to be pulled about grammar is that another form of abuse I wonder ?

You're the lobby host. If you get annoyed by 8 year olds in Red Bulls, feel free to kick them. If you have no patience whatsoever and somebody asking for a track change gets kicked, I don't care that you'll do that. It's all your choice.

What I do not think this needs is a thread which is basically a threat. A threat with terrible grammar.

I do not think any GTPlaneteers fall into the demographic you're talking of here. We all want respect in our lobbies, but this thread is pretty needless.

I don't see the point of sending a mass threat to a bunch of mature, level-headed people.

So go ahead Pat. You can kick whoever you want, and although they may come back with foul language and ranting, it doesn't mean you have to.

Keep your cool, be a respectful lobby host, and you'll get trust. You'll get a good reputation. And in the end, it's worth it for the whole GT community.

 
I at least try to have proper spelling and grammar in the lobby's title and have regulations set-up to prevent any cars I don't want to be there.

If I ever am in anyone's lobby and if I bust-out my X2014 Junior, let me drive it dammit, I love driving it! Don't call me a faggot and get your buddies to join in on it too, and then kick me out just for trying to enjoy a car. (This actually happened to me BTW.)

I voted for both options, purely for lulz.

Then I won't, but I have Brian Vickers's 2010 NASCAR Sprint Cup car (Red Bull sponsered) just to piss them off. :p

And if it says "no red bull x1" or any variant of that, with no limitations put in place, I never join.
 
In fact am a little disgusted that people would pull other people up on this and could,admin please delete my account and remove me from this site it's really not on when you try to make. Point then get abuse about your gramma please remove me from the site

I you really want to be removed from GTP without trying to contribute in any way, try making multiple threads calling out any of the moderation staff and saying bad things about them, they'll remove you from the site. :sly:

Why would I abuse any one ,that's just not me I am amazed I thought this was a friendly place were any one with any ability could join and not get put down for what ever am sure a mod/admin will remove me all my posts and my data soon

Easy there, calm down. It is not abuse or belitting you at all, it is in the site's rules that you must attempt to use correct grammer, spelling and punctuation at all times, it is part of the deal you make when you sign up to GT Planet. You can find everything relating to that here:

As for your topic, I agree with you that it is annoying when people enter a room and constantly demand changes. If they don't like any of the rooms that they enter, then they should create one of their own. I don't think that it calls for a ban, however. A well implemented reputation could help out with this.

And no, they do not remove every post a member makes, it's all kept for record-keeping purposes. Unless you making spam and/or abusive posts, they usually become hidden from the rest of us.

Like I said record keeping purposes.

It's something that you agreed to when you signed up. GTP has standards. I don't think you need to overreact in such a way as you have done.

Calm down, take a deep breath. Think about benefiting the GT community. Think about the help you could get and give here.

I suppose GTP's strict nature isn't for everybody, but you seem to have formed a weird idea that we're all deliberately putting you down. Wherever else you go, continue to enjoy Gran Turismo, and keep racing. You can always come back in the future 👍
