I know it's not out until Tuesday but if I wanted to pre order and get the bonuses the deal breaker is can I calibrate my G920's brake pedal which has a nixim mod? I had AC on the PS4 using a gimx adapter with the wheel and had to create a custom profile to allow for the brake pedal as I cannot get full brake pressure with my wheel stand. My seat starts to lift at about 70% I would rather get it on the Xbox as I don't need to run it through gimx then.

From what I have seen so far, there is no way to calibrate wheels,it just Auto detects them like it does in Assetto Corsa.

Yeah I was thinking similar from watching what videos I could whatever the language they are in. I don't think I will be pre ordering as it's too much of a gamble and I hate using the clutch as a brake pedal as it just feels wrong.

Just build your own rig out of wood. Its super easy and very sturdy. I used 2x4s, 2x8s, and plywood to make mine.

Space is the issue sadly or I would have a gaming room with a rig in. Currently using a folding chair with my wheel stand so I can put it away when done.

My wood set up. Ive actually raised the pedal tray by turning those two flat 2x4s upright. Its about 11" from the floor to my heels now. I use the old mouse pad for heel cushion since i race in socks.

The chair is a Poang from ikea. Its held to the rig by very basic metal latches. Like you would use on a wooden fence gate.

My butt is about 12" from the floor when im sitting in the chair.

Maybe you should consider..

Playseat Challenge, its foldable and IMO its 100 Times better than a wheelstand. Iwe had both.

Also there is a new chair from Next level F-GT- Light. Wich seems like a direct compitition to the Challenge seat.

It might be better than the challenge as it has more option for using it is F1 or GT seat positions. I dont know really. But I do know the playseat challenge is a great product its very stable even it looks a bit fishy.

sounds pretty awesome! When the kids are grown up the rig is a definite!

Thanks!

I took a Lot of inspiration from some guy online. If you google poang sim rig or ikea sim rig he'll pop up.

It definitely changes everything having a solid rig. Its not 80/20 by any means but its probably 85% as good with maybe 1/6 the cost. If not less.
