Also, not pictured is my '92 Caravan; gunmetal grey with silver Neon R/T wheels on it. This was our first new car, and is kept around as a REAL utility vehicle rather than these sport "utility' vehicles (which are neither sporty nor useful).
I told a guy from Mississippi about in while on Holiday in Florida compared to his Oldsmobile... his exact words were " Man do you have to get out and push that thing up hills ? "
If I tuned it up a bit I might get about 90MPH out of it...
I call it the Gutless Wonder because it has a measly 112hp and 97ft-lbs at the flywheel. Yet it goes around corners lickety split, and because of that it can go pretty darn quick on a track or an auto-x course. Oftentimes people ask me if it's turbocharged, or don't believe me when I tell them how little power it has or how much it weighs (2,400 lbs, if you can believe that). It's got brilliant handling.
We're approaching 158,000 miles with mostly original parts. The main/rod bearings and the clutch system have been replaced, and that's about it aside from mods I've done just because I want to.
