Add a Small Free Mode City

I've been wanting this since GT2. Instead of a career mode map why not drive there? Start at your generic HOME/garage and drive to a race track or a Toyota dealer or Chevy dealer or drive down to the used car lot. It would make the career mode feel like an actual career mode and can be used online for free roaming like everyone wants. Gt is a "driving simulator" not racing simulator so where is the driving?? I'm not talking GTAV status but something with buildings, scenery and the occasional pedestrian driver with a day/night/rain cycle. This idea is also in a PS1 game: NFS Porsche Unleasehed. *Definitely check that game out PD if you use my idea: NFS Porsche Unleashed.*

You could have an online aspect with other real people on the streets. Queues to the popular venues and so on. Mods as cops for those breaking speed limits, jumping red lights etc. Maybe even merge it into PS Home

Interesting concept to be sure but I've just had a little drive to the shops through my local "city" and it isn't much fun, it is just a means to get somewhere so something like this would need to be done right and not just a chore. Maybe as an optional feature, like replays or photo mode.

I always thought these games would be good to practice parking before I try driving a real car. In first person view in a parking lot with other cars.

For those of us who like to build custom cars and just want to cruise, a downtown city or rural road routes would be awesome online for evening cruises. Add in time changes and you could have a real hub of activity for those who want to emulate the cruise scene or for others who just want to drive, not race.

I love this idea. In my opinion, it would need to have quite some space in between locations for it to feel fun. Spread dealerships apart. Have long open highways for people to do high speed runs. Have a very detailed dockyard to drift at. Have an actual drag strip that you can pull up to and quickly start once you do a burnout.

They could even just let us drive around existing tracks without barriers caging us in the course.

Motegi without barriers would be like a small city by itself. No extra modeling necessary.

I would love a city as big as LA in MCLA, but with highways as long as the ones in GTA V, with shops dotted along them. The traffic should consist of average cars like the Dodge Ram, Mazda Miata, Ford Focus, etc.

Now here's an idea: Have several cities in a couple countries, with region-correct cars. Left hand drive cars in America and Germany, Right hand drive cars in England and Japan, etc. Then, add a very rare chance of seeing a supercar on the street. Say 1 in 70 chance of seeing a Veyron cruising along.

Maybe have highway drag races with supercars, muscle cars, and tuner cars? Flash your headlights to start a race quickly, like MCLA.

Remake Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova and Kalos into GT and we will have more open world areas for free roam.

I like most of these ideas - the only one I don't is having "mods as cops". Bans for speeding seems like it might make establishing a viable street racing league somewhat difficult.

Oh, and speaking of: make sure there's highways there. Just give us the city, Kaz. Maybe Special Stage City (though please base it on the GT1-4 version, the GT5-6 version looks empty and sad). We'll handle the rest.
