For all those nuts who like driving stock cars, myself incuded. Whats your opinion on this? Does it add to the realism of helping cars perform that much closer to their real life counterparts? How much does your driver in gran turismo weigh, if he weighs anything at all? Do they factor his weight in? I got this idea when i was running stock cars for a 400pp seasonal, and added a bit of ballast for drivers weight under the front seat of my integra, and ended up golding Eiger Norwand. It was my excuse of being happy with beating it with a stock car. This may be a stupid question, but it does kinda make you think.

Some cars already seem to be adjusted in terms of weight distribution but not all, its a bit sporadic.

Maybe thats why some cars are a little off in that category? Thats an extra 65 - 100 kgs towards the front of the car. Any more than that and you'll have to factor in the effects of low self esteem.

That was my thought, some appear to have an 'average' persons worth of ballast adjusting the weight distribution but its far from uniform across all cars and whether its added to the total weight I don't know.

I know in F1 when they give the weight of an F1 car it includes the driver. The rule currently is 690 kg with the driver. This may account for some of the cars in GT showing odd weights and others being "correct."

Also some cars like the RX-8 and the FRS/FT-86/BRZ try to put the driver as close to the center of the car as possible to keep weight balance as close to 50/50 as possible. This may be why some cars have an extra 65 kgs toward the front and others may only have an extra 20 kg say (better weight distribution.)
