Adjusted Cockpits 2.06

People been saying pd has adjusted the cockpits they been saying they made it further back. I went and drove some cars and i couldn't tell if their were a difference.

Anyone know what cars cockpit views they adjusted?

Not sure. I know standards are supposed to have bene brightened a little inside.

Call me nitpicky, but I'm still waiting for the cockpit cam on the Citröen C4 Coupe VTS to go back to where it was on GT5... on GT5, it's too damn close to the wheel, the rearview mirrors are almost useless!

Gonna try some other cars now... let's see if there are any real changes or the "placebo effect" is in order.

The gt5 p cockpit looks way better and most cockpits on gt5 are too close to the wheel i hop they fix this in the future. If you find any difference in the cockpits after 2.06 post back here pls.

Didn't they change that in the most recent update? I saw in the 'changes in the update' thread that they have changed to cockpits so you are not as close to the wheel.

There is such a thing (don't know if it's what you mean) where you have 3 options on how far away you are from the windshield. It narrows or widens your view.

If you selct the widest view, rear view mirrors are useful

It appears my hunch was right, GT5 interiors were a bit better detailed...

I think it depends on which car you're driving, some cars are slightly different, but some are exactly the same.

This problem happens only on the C4 VTS... I always use the widest view on all cockpits and this Citroën is the car that suffered the most.

I just wanted the camera view on the C4 to go back to where it was on Prologue... because many other cars carried over from GT5 still got the same cockpit cam position. You can't even see the fixed center hub on the steering wheel...

Both Youtube stills you see above on my previous post show exactly the actual C4 view with the camera at its widest setting. Can you see anything from the external mirror? On the image from GT5, you can.

EDIT: the post below shows another car that suffered in the transition from GT5 Prologue to GT5... the XK Jaguar cockpit got worse, not only being closer to the wheel, but also much lower, obstructing the view from the road.

The Jaguar XK's interior view is still too close to the windscreen. It's ridiculous!

I noticed the camera position in the Lambo Miura is further back than it was, but I tried a few others and saw no differnce, so I'm starting to second guess that now, it might just have been better than I remembered it being.

Is there a way to adjust or move the camera position in cockpit view.
I see some people saying it is to close to the wheel but imo it is to far away. I see to much interior and not enough road not to mention the steering wheel on screen in front of my steering wheel it is almost like driving from the back seat. Would be nice to move forward a bit

Took me a while to find it but yeah it is there under quick options when you pause the race. I zoomed it fully and like it better
