Since the new patch can you guys adjust your TCS level while driving anymore?

i have the RA menu buttons mapped out on my controller and the TCS control are blocked out now and i cant change them on the fly.... :guilty:

This is being discussed in another thread. I can still do it for some reason but others cannot. Check the other thread for more info.

I feel your pain. I can't do well in Time Trials without the ability to toggle the TCM and it's frustrating. I usually put the traction control on during the trickier corners that require quick downshifts, and up shifts.

Wow you really turn on and off TCS during your laps every lap? Doesn't that get annoying?

depends on the car, I do it on straights when I know there's a curve coming up, it helps.

But besides, I usually do it at the grid start, always switch it on to start, and then switch it off for the rest of the race usually.

You are a very busy intense man playing this game :D

With certain cars/tracks it's faster - you need the TCS for good exits from some slow corners but you don't want it on for any longer than is strictly necessary.

Mine still works... I wonder if people who are seeing it 'greyed out' are seeing that in races where use is limited. There was previously a 'bug' that would allow the game or host to force assists OFF yet a player could still adjust those assists during the session.

I bet you it isn't faster, I haven't yet found a car that is faster using TCS unless you don't use delicate threshold throttling. Though over long periods of racing it gets tiring, thats where TCS is a nice feature.

Edit: with a wheel I mean, it might be different for controller users.
