Advanced Download Option - Not Worth It

Right, I attempted to make use of GT-TV after they expanded the range of videos available and since I got something like £1.33 left in my wallet I decided to try it out and purchased the Super GT video for a "special price" of £0.69 which is a bit pricey in my opinion for a special offer but since I am intrigued by the Super GT I decided to take up the offer anyway.

I decided to switch on the "Advanced Download Option" thinking a torrent style of downloading would be a more efficient and possibly more quicker than the standard server style of downloading. However after 16 hours leaving on my PS3 I am dismayed to have only mustered 3%. I am appalled by this and just switched the thing off and got much better results by getting it directly from the server. I think the problem is that so few people switch it on therefore the system is not worth having at all. I already lost a day of watching the PPV and still downloading at the moment. Has anyone got better results using the Advanced Download Option or did they just stick with the old server download style?

You should read the news. The advanced download option is available yet, and won't work even if it's switched on.

Oh right that might explain it lol. When I tried to download the video, they gave me a popup saying that they recommend doing the "Advanced Download Option" so I done it. Though it is a bit strange if I managed to download 3% if its isn't officially available at all yet...

Wow, only 3% after 16 hours, I only bought my three vids today and have got to 80 odd percent!
