Hi! I have to grind just about 3 more races to make it to level 20. At level 20, what is the best car to use for the Advanced Rally Challenge.
Also, I own a C4 Citroen rally car and 331,000 Cr (More after I complete the grinding), will the rally car be good for it or should I get another car?

I used Mitsubishi Evolution Super Rally Car 03, which you should have one after winning the intermediate rally series. It's a good car.

The C4 will absolutely waste the Advance challenge. Don't bother modding it or anything, its good to go as is.

Can someone list what they think are the top 3 - 5 cars that can be used in this Advanced Rally race? And if you have it... what the HP is on each? And more importantly, where do you get these cars? Do they just come up in the Used Dealership? Are their any that are available to buy NEW?

I'd like to finish first in this race with a car besides a prize car... I'd like to buy one myself, but its hard to know which cars are competitive in this race, and these rally cars are not cheap when I see them.

Thanks.

The only one of the rally challenged that I haven't got gold in is the Advanced gravel one. The first stage I'm all over the place and end up losing by like 15 seconds. I managed to claw it back and take the lead only to lose it all again on the last stage and end up finishing 3rd. Second time I had a go at it I lost the first stage by aboout 25 seconds which I thought was too much to pull back so I quit. I just don't seem to be able to go quick enough on the very twisty first stage.

Lancia Delta S4 rally car

It's got more power and alot less weight in stock tune than the cars you'll be racing. Put a mid rpm turbo kit on it and it flies out of the corners. 👍

Hi iaustin7

I have two Lancia Delta S4 rally cars... and you can have one of them, if you let me have your PSN ID. I'll gift it to you - as I am not going to use it.

You can buy the Citroen C4 WRC and the Ford Focus WRC, and I believe the Subaru Impreza WRC all from the NEW dealer, all are around 315 hp, and all 3 should lay waste to this series in the right hands. They are also all 850,000 credits. Honestly not worth paying for when you can win the C4 in the Sebastian Loeb challenge.

The Loeb Challenge is frighteningly easier than the Rallies despite being unlocked much later.

I ran the Citroen, added just the engine modifications, soft racing tyres, dominated it. The hardest part really is just the Tarmac, but I was always catching the other C4 in it. Just careful with the wet conditions, luckily being 4wd, it's easy to control.

As for the best cars, Citroen C4 Rally Car, Ford Focus RS Rally Car, Subaru Impreza Rally Car or the Suzuki Swift Rally car, all from the Dealership, alternitively, you may win one of these babies from the Intermediate (or something similar that is equally as good) and the C4 from Loeb Challenge. The S4 can be won in B-Spec. Wouldn't recommend the Stratos unless you're very farmiliar with it.

A stock Citroen C4 WRC or Ford Focus WRC will do it easily. I got a free C4 from the Loeb challange and used it. I like the Focus much more, though.

I guess, any 4x4 Rally car at 300+ HP is good enough for this. Even for expert with some decent driving.

Okay, this Advanced Rally Race was no where near as difficult as I thought it would be. I had two qualifying Rally cars in my garage (besides the rally prize cars that I own and didn't want to use for this) : I had a Mitsubishi Pajero Rally Raid Car '85, and a Renault 5 Maxi Turbo Rally Car '85.

I started with the '85 Renault 5 Maxi Turbo Rally car, and that thing was just all over the damn road; it would not go straight! Then I realized that the car was a FR. No wonder it kept wiggin' out; who ever heard of a non-4WD Rally car?!?!

So I switched to the Mitsubishi Pajero Rally Raid Car '85 thinking I would be disappointed and not be able to keep up. WRONG! These races were cake, even with this awkwardly tall truck-type vehicle that was less than 300hp. It did fine on the gravel, and smoked 'em in the snow.

But then I hit the pavement and had some trouble. This Mitsubishi Pajero Rally Raid Car '85 WILL flip over on turns, and easily; it is very top heavy. I had a hard enough time just keeping it on all four wheels. Even then though, it just couldn't keep up very well.

So I thought I'd give that Renault 5 Maxi Turbo a try again; maybe the pavement would be better for this car? It was. On the pavement, this car owns. But it is still a bit hard to keep control of... the back end keeps wanting to swing out. On stages with wet pavement, this is seriously accentuated too... and while I usually avoid driving aids, I suggest turning the active steering to STRONG, particularly on the wet pavement.

All in all, I really don't think you need to be too choosey with a car to use for these Advanced Rally races. Anything 300hp or better should do fine. As long as its a 4WD! :)
