I just realized, if your first post must be approved by a mod, then how do advertisers get their posts approved?
Not much of a problem, just curious.

That policy isn't in place any more, hence the reason you're seeing more spam make it through to the forums.

Well, it should be back, IMO.

Only that you need to find a way to make it faster, so newbies can avoid having to wait two days to post.

It very, very rarely took two days for the queue to be looked at (typically multiple times a day). If a user did notice a long time before their posts were approved, it was usually because previous ones weren't, for one AUP-related reason or another :)

Oh, no problem. It's just that we had like two guys at the brony thread that had a similar problem. They made legit posts, but they still needed approval until their 5th or 10th post, which I don't remember having to.

I do however respect the staff's decisions, so if you felt that having to wait a lot, or not at all was necessary, I'm OK with it. :)👍

When the queue was in use, it was only the first post that needed to be manually approved, after that they were free to post at will. However, if someone posted numerous times before that first post was approved, all of their posts would be in the queue and subsequently all had to be approved one at a time.

I just say they need to be up to a certain amount of posts before they can make a thread. If the drifting section we are getting tons of new guys coming in making new thread. These threads include, asking for tunes, yet there is a stickie for that. Making a team but then end up never coming back on GTP again. When I joined I had to hit a certain amount of posts before I can make a thread. It should be like this again. If you guys need help let me know, Im already known for enforcing the AUP in the drifting sub-forum.

It should come back. I was wondering why I've been seeing X1 For Trade threads lately. Just get a Super-Computer to do it. :D
