Advice for E3 virgin?

First let me sorry if this is posted in the wrong place. Just let me know the correct place before the flambé.

I just found out that my company (makes in-flight entertainment) is sending me to E3. Well not exactly sending, more like I can spend those days up in LA instead of down in OC.

I have never been before and I have heard it is nothing like it was in the past but still want to make sure I can make the most of it. So if anyone has any tips or advice beyond just the what to do, where to go, etc, it would be appreciated. And of course the advice of what to do and where to go would be welcomed too.

If anyone else here is going maybe we can meet for lunch or something one day.

I will try to post everything I learn in the appropriate forums afterward.
 
Have fun, it should be a good E3 for race fans. Hopefully we will get info on the following games.
DiRT 2
F1 2009
Forza 3
Gran Turismo 5
Grid 2(not sure if they have even started on it yet, but common sense tells you it's coming)

Hopefully Simbin will give us some more info on their PS3 project also.

I'm getting the Giggities just think about it.
 
What, Supercar Challenge? Physics look promising, but the graphics are terrible.

@peterjford: i have no advice, just have fun. You're really lucky... wish I could go... please bring back info... and check out NFS Shift if they have it there. that looks promising.
 
System 3 is doing Supercar Challenge, which looks to be like FC with more cars.

SimBin is the company that made Race Pro for 360, as well as the GTR series on PC. Hopefully their PS3 game will be better than Race Pro which is pretty good.
