Maybe it's just me, But I like Sprinter-Trueno's (AE86). That doesn't mean I would buy one instead of a Skyline, Supra, Integra Type-R, or anything else along those lines. It's just that they are bad ass little cars! In Japan, They're a cult favorite for drifters. Same with FC RX-7's.

I really don't know why I posted this....I must've been bored...

:r:yan

Och well, shucks. Some people post the strangest things for less reason than that.

I think we all have our favourites, mine is the Aston Vanquish, which I used to great effect in all the races that require unmodified cars. It rocked.

Welcome to GTP! :)

The Tureno's are flat out drift mobiles. They slide so well.......drift action time!

I like the SS version.............. Shigeno or something

I won that car but the modified one the one that they give u in the FR meeting I sold it....... Now I hate my self for doing that i really miss that car I can't get it because it wasn't a car that u get in a turnament. that car is the........

I'm so stupid I want my Trueno back :nervous: :(

I liked doing that license test on the SS Route 5 Wet. That was easy and fun. I personally like the GT40, but I think most everyone around here knows that by now.... :fdevil: :burnout:

The Sprinter's okay - they're good fun, neat little chassis.

The twin-cam version in real life is a hoot to drive - although the version I drove was running 17 inch wheels and koni shocks....

Not another Trueno hater! I bet you're one of those uber-critics and you don't like the Allegro either! FREAK!

I have to admit I am very fond of my Trueno, one of the best drift cars in the game. Axletramp is just a sick man who dreams of Lancia Scorpions, Morris Itals and (shudders) Allegros :ill: ;) :D

A classic Japanese car, a great car in it's time and can still mix with the best today :gcar: Nice Motor fully tuned.

I'd love to get a Real tuned version and park upto a little roadster with a snobby driver at the traffic lights, then whilst he laughs cause he thinks the Sprinter's a banger I give it full revvs :burnout:and beat his ass......

ARRRRRRRRR I wanna see that Anime but they do hardly any anime in the UK. Is that the one about the guy who was taught some special drftin technique by his dad or summin? oh and he has a treuno (of course  )

Truenos ain't the prettiest face in the bunch, but man, does it move.:D
I've kept them on both memory cards I have going.

Actually, I used my Trueno well to win the 80's Beginner cup, and all the other basic races. With a lot of weight redux and some mild turbo work it was very quick.

For some reason, though, even adjusting the Sport suspension, I couldn't get it to handle transitions very well once it had a fair amount of power. It either understeered while braking, or wagged the tail enough to really kill my exit speeds. I couldn't get the suspension settings balanced.

I got bored with it and sold it to help finance my 190 mph Miata.

like mr pushrod and his sideways antics, i love the shigeno version because of the wierd styling and that it is a regular drift king for all gt3 drivers that want to go sideways.

Yeah, it's not a bad car. I used a lot back at the start of the game, though I haven't even taken it out of the garage in ages!
