Dissapointed Blake? I thought we'd start out a bit slow and build up :), I've seen many, to many series die due to lack of interest :( so bare with me. I've ran 2 sessions on this and found it quite fun and not to cumbersom. I have plenty of free time on my hands at the moment but many others don't.

I've picked up some habits from the numbers board and would encourage you all to follow suite: no aids, topy 330km. Only car I've ever driven where I can oversteer the high speed "S"

I’m not sure if this car is faster with or without aids. With aids I can get some crazy corner speeds, but my exits are a lot smoother without them. Still, this time was 8 tenths faster at the line than my best time with aids (the time I posted before), so down that long straight it seems to make some real ground.

Just to show how much I lost in the tunnel(s), I was 0.07 ahead of Sjaak on T1, yet I'm 0.2 behind on T2, even though my long-lefter was really good...

I'm not sure how the next few week'll work out, time-wise, but I hope to be able to race each week. The FGT is just too fun to miss out...
 
Ran a few more laps and came up with this:

I can beat that t1 once in a while, what urks me as that I missed a down shift going into the first tunnel and ended up taking the turn in 5th :dunce: . I should be able to take maybe .15x off that t2 being in the right gear, hit the last tunnel pretty well though, stayed in 4th.
 
Had a decent half hour run at it just then and got these:

I don’t know if there’s much more I can get out of it. Maybe there’s 0.2 left at the line if I nail the final sector, other than that there’s only a couple of tenths in the second sector that I could maybe pick up.
 
I will give this a try. I feel fast right now as just today I finished getting all golds in the licenses:O.

I have no choice but to unplug the wheel. It shakes like crazy and takes any enjoyment out of it. :grumpy:
 
btw...is everybody playing with steering wheel?
Am I the only 1 using a normal PS2 controller?
 
Kel put me onto this and thought why not have a few laps .. very slippy at first but it grows on ya after a bit 👍

... so far I'm at 16.067 / 31.615 and a crappy slide on the way up the final hill ... I reckon another .2 off the total and I'll be done here :cheers:
 
Some new splits for me, a not so good last sector but If I chase this one and manage to keep up and have a decent finish I'll hit a sumbittable time :sly:

EDIT: Being the first race series I have hosted, I didn't give the interest thread enough time or the track selection either. My hopes were to have a series where everyone ran every race(optimistic I know :dopey: ) So we all battled for the available points. Any hoo, I know James just want's to poke his head in once in a while for fun, but others such as gingiba and Ron might want to run in the standing? I screwed it up a bit :dunce:

Please let me know what you guys think.......

wow, found myself a glitch on midfield
session record... 0:31.819
pretty strange, I went off after the first tunnel, the long left corner, then the time started running all over again
I have a picture, and I will save the replay of the fastest lap so everybody can see

I think my time will not be beaten :lol:
