I believe your a photographer and need to get pics of specific animals. There is an arcade game similar to this on the 360. The game on the 360 is all under water. Oh yeah its called Sea Life Safari.
They tell you which animals to take pics of then you go and try to get the best possible pics of the animals in action, centered, and happy.
 
Looks like a very promising title. However, it will be interesting to see what direction they head in. ~ Just taking photos? Shooting and hunting animals?
 
It's only canceled for the EU, although you should be able to import it once it comes out, still no word on if Americans are even getting it though.

Hey guys, Is this game going to be released in USA? or at least in Europe? If not I will get the Japanese version from playasia. But I really do not wan to buy a game in Japanese format knowing I can wait a month or two with English language.
 
Apparently its in English... as Rainmaster stated, Ive had to fight through more complicated PS2 games with Japanese text!... with this is can't be that hard to grasp even if it is in Japanese.

Oh ok.... its not in english and it does look like a lot of text to do with what you have to do etc, I thought it would just be random driving and snapping.... aww man I want this game I hope theres an english option... There might be a chance of a bilingual version in HK because most games which come out over there offer both languages..

With that orchestral music you get this feel of an epic movie or something, I like the Sony camera product placement! :sly:

It looks like the Gran Turismo of animal photography sims! Definitely want.
 
I did some looking around and the Asian version does not indicate anywhere that it will offer an English option. It says Japanese/Asian version so maybe there will be no joy unless its released in the US.

Also this name Hakuna Matata outside of Japan puts me right off, its possibly the cheesiest name change ive ever heard and I seriously don't understand why Afrika cannot be used.... if the copyright is owned by Sony whats the problem?

I also thought spelling Afrika like that would mean they could get trademark status.... its really confusing. Can someone explain legal issues like this.

I think HK version will be in english as well like other HK region games. WE'll wait and see. It's gonna be released august 28
 
That would be an awesome hunting video game. But, since it's about photography, I'm not going to get it. Looks fantastic, though.
 
on IGN.com it says that US version is TBA. SO I will wait up few months. This game is like FARCRY2 without the guns ;).

Yeah, looking at FC2 shots today did remind me of this game.. its good to see something that doesn't involve killing for a change!

I agree. Although I like killing things and blowing things up, I really hope this genre catches and is a big seller to promote other non-killing, educational type games.
 
I really want this game, I can see myself roaming around in a jeep snapping great pics, plus we could have photo competitions like the GT4 ones :D
 
This game would be great if it had multiplayer.. like 2 people rush out to get the best pic of the same animal in a given time limit... then the pics get judged and someone wins. Would add a new level to the game.

Would love to know if this also supports trophies and custom soundtracks but I doubt it.

Neh, this game does not need multilayer. People that will buy this kind of game ARE patient. Multilayer are usually for inpatient ones. I want to take 15 minutes to wonder and find what you are looking for. I love to explore, and i would love to just hide in the bushes and take a pic of a lion cubs, I do not want to RUN, see the lion and take picture in first 2 minutes, and mission is over. That would be so lame. This game should be an Escape and simulate , actuality not reality;)
 
I agree, multiplayer wouldn't be a good idea, i just hope thye add some sort of AI to the wildlife, becasue it would suck if you can just walk up to a pride of Lions and start snapping away without the pride looking at you like lunch, im not sure how educational it would be otherwise.
 
Looking at the teaser vid it does seem animals can start to chase you if you get too close... whether there will be animations of your arms getting torn off is another story! :sly:
