After the [Spec II] update, playing online is plain stupid.

You seem very sick and tired by the online at the moment. I'm kind of relaxed right now that I don't have the game till online mode isn't properly put to order so that it plays intelligently. I hope it gets better ASAP. Be cool and keep your engines running.

The issue I have with the online side is more about the format. I mean having tards ram into you and push you over is nothing new to console racing games or this game in particular. I personally have nothing against the tuned cars, and I do enjoy the flexibility of the QT feature. It is just that the online format is so limiting.

The cockpit view, H-shifting and the ability to turn ABS off (with the Spec II update), IMO, not only elevated this series towards the "sim" direction and is also the best thing that ever happened for this series to date.

IMO, playing it without utilizing such improvements would be a waste.

Ok heres one for ya been playin online in the beginners section doing high speed ring and several times now i have been on the last bend in the lead and just as i get onto the straight it says Disconnected from server!!!!! the 1st time i was like WTF! I dont think its my connection as it has been great so far so i was wondering does this happen when the host discons? Is this call of duty 4 all over again?

Yes, it is the host that disconnects. But what I really hate about the beginners section is the lack of penalties, the amount of wallriding on daytona and high speed ring is incredible. They don't seem to get the concept of braking. I really wonder how some of those guys got passed the C-class.

As PD have said GT5P online will be used as an ongoing beta. We shouldnt expect to much yet.
