There's a company here in Houston that builds custom engines in any size, any number of cylinders/rotors, any configuration, but only naturally aspirated.

My dad built a 996 for FVD that was in a cover article for Excellence Magazine. The article was about street legal 911s in shootout at Las Vegas Speedway I think. The car was way out powered by all the others so naturally it lost but it mopped the floor in the daily drivability category.

Two that I have been associated with:

Flyin' Miata - Suspension, chassis stiffening, engine builds, turbocharging, LSx V8 swaps

Vivid Racing - mainly internet parts sales, but we also do in-house stuff. Pretty much anything, from OEM service all the way up to a 3-Rotor RX-8 and the like. Full AWD dyno facility. Pretty much any kind of car though...
