Hello GT4'ers

There are a few things in GT4 that I need to know, which I havn't the answer for yet.

---

The first is the title of the topic. What I am wanting to know is how the AI cars (mainly in arcade mode) are grouped.
For example, in GT3, the fastest "group" of cars you can race against are the group of the GTOne, 787b, R390, Zonda, Panoz, GT40, Camaro..Vertigo..etc. I would say that that is the faster group you can race against.

What I want to know is, What are the racing groups like in GT4? What cars are placed together on most occasions on a single arcade race....depending on what car you choose of course.

It would help to tell the racing classes, like in GT3 for example..

GTOne, R390, 787B, Zonda, Panoz, GT40, Camaro, Vertigo..etc.

JGTC Cars..(what new cars are in this group?)

The there is the "Rally" group, which consists of all Rally cars (except the escudo :sly: ) and the Silvia, MR-S, Clio Cup and s2000 race car.

So, what groups are in GT4? Is the fastest class you can race against an all Le Mans group? Or are some slower cars included? Are the groups mixed?

Please tell. (If you understand what I want to know 💡 )

The other thing I wanted to know is AI and Mistakes. I've read in many places about there being a new AI engine, and their "sloppy" driving style. What I want to know is do the AI cars make random mistakes?

Like, for instance, Would an AI car go wide onto the grass on the first corner on Apricot Hill, and then the following lap he makes a perfect corner on the same corner but makes a mistake at the hairpin? Are the mistakes random? Or do they seem it?

from pictures I've seen, the grid sometimes seems completely random as far as performance, and the line the AI takes is anything but random.

In arcade you always pitted against a similar set of cars ie take a GT-One out and expect to race against th Toyota 7, Mercedes CLK-GTR, Gillet Vertigo and the Suzuki Escudo. Take a JGTC car though and expect to race JGTC and GTS cars like the C5-R and NSX-R.

Yeah, strange too. I imagibe it wouldn't be much competition though, since it handles like crap!

Well, they shouldn't really make it easier for the AI to drive with out chaning the set up, 'cause taht would be cheating. :odd:
