So anyone have noticed a bad intelligence when opponent cars enter the pit??
Running GT World Championship on the Professional hall, the AI seems to not think on how many laps the races have!!!
There you go to a 16 lap race and you see your tires getting orange on lap 8. So you think "I am on the middle of the race and maybe it's a good idea to have new tires to finish it". You enter the pit, change your tires and get back to the race. Then you notice your start driving much faster than the opponents and on lap 11 or 12 they all start to enter the pit.
My only conclusion to that is: there is no intelligence on the ralation between race distance and tires/fuel consumption!!! The opponents just wait until the tires get to an 'impossible to drive' state and then pit. You can see the cars running out of the track, braking into walls, etc.
My assumption, GT4 AI on pit strategy doesn't exist.
