Is it just me who has a problem with the AI on GT5? Im trying to do the 2nd level of the Top Gear special event and 4 times someones came and slammed into me forcing me into some cones getting me disqualified.
Yes the AI is pretty dumb, especially at Top Gear. I think the cheat still works where you eliminate part of the track. Instead of turning right after leaving Hammerhead, go straight (don't hit cones) to start/finish line, U-turn & cross line to finish your lap/laps. 👍
The AI in this race are extremely predictable. In the VW race, the car you are following at the start will get a slight bump from one of the other cars. This bump will slow the car down just enough for you to make a pass. Remember to always draft your opponents so you can keep up with them. And do the track cut glitch. That saves an incredible amount of time.
