AIM and MSN icons/shortcuts for Firefox?

I was fiddling around and trying to browse with IE, and I saw that there are hotlinks (or something like that) for MSN Messenger and AOL Instant Messenger right in the browser. If I could have these on Firefox, I could take them out of my Quick Launch and therefore make that smaller.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Put the icons on your desktop? lol

I haven't seen anything to that effect that I know of. You might find something as an extension, but other than that I don't know.
